My now 4 year old son is also attending. This Child Care Facility has been like family to us. Believe me when I say no one else has ever watched any of my kids besides myself, my husband and the staff at LOA. I find it difficult to trust people especially with my children. My children love LOA and if someone like me can trust LOA, then please know that they are in a whole league by themselves. I am a tough critic and very hard to satisfy (my standards are very high) especially when it comes to my children. LOA blows my mind Everytime with high standards. They have not just been there for my kids but they understand my heart. They really know me. Mrs. Ellen, Courtney and the Staff know me and understand and respect my family. If you are considering sending your kids to a child care facility, please look no further. Ask my husband, I am the toughest critic in town. This place calms my nerves because there truly is a giant beating heart filled with honest warmth and compassion at LOA. Thank you LOA for setting and exceeding expectations.

Different sections of the building have been built at different times so the look is more quaint but it's clean and organized. Michele (the director) is amazing and goes above and beyond to make sure that you and your kids are taken care of and to make you feel like this really is a family environment. All of the teachers there are very warm and inviting and foster the family feel that Michele has established. My kids (now 10 and 4) have been going here for over two years now and I have no intention of taking them out! They love it here and I trust this center wholly. Also, I don't know why it says I'm in San Francisco, CA because I live in Charles Town, WV.

We chose MVCA because of its family atmosphere. The parents and teachers are considered "partners" in the child's education and there are many ways that the parents are kept up to date about their child's progress. This includes RenWeb, an APP that you can actually download on your phone, frequent emails, and parent-teacher conferences. Many of the teachers have become not only my child's friend but also mine. The staff is very easy to get along with and truly seem to care whether or not my child succeeds. Academics are very important to the extent that if you do not maintain a certain GPA, you are not allowed to play sports. Children are also trained in leadership skills and I have watched my child bloom in this area since starting at this school. Two leadership retreats are offered during 7-12th grade as well as multiple other events where the students can grow their leadership skills and serve. There are also mission and oversea trips offered in high school years. The school continues to seek ways to expand what they offer and college prep opportunities. Overall, we are very pleased.

My daughter has attended Rainbow Montessori for nearly two years. Hands down, sending her there has…read morebeen the best decision we have made for her personal, social and intellectual development. Having come from an urban environment where people really don't care for anyone but themselves, it stunned me to feel the kindness and gentle nature of the students and staff. We're not gushy folks, but it's hard to resist the loving and creative vibe from the school and kids - they are really a family. They are ever ready to help and always look out for each other. If someone is sad or hurt, there's always another child and staff member there to make them feel better. It's part of their nature. The school's director, Kit Hays, is passionate and dedicated to the students and families. She pours her heart into developing the most creative and thoughtful curriculum as well as carefully weaving in modernity and diversity. Not only are the staff skillfully qualified as Montessori instructors, they truly love teaching and nurture all their students. Students are encouraged to develop their existing strengths and are supported to take on new challenges when they are ready (like reading) - really meeting kids where they are and helping them to shine. Kids are not forced into learning; it seems like they sort of bloom when they are ready. Using this gentle approach, it's amazing to see how many kids are reading and counting at such a young age. They integrate many aspects of learning into their daily routine so there's no real separation between laughter and learning - it's one and the same. Even when they play games, there's a thoughtful educational element embedded in the fun. You can tell the kids enjoy every second they are there while, even when they are in "work time". At one point my daughter was having a difficult time going to school, weepy and clingy when it was time to go. Each day when we arrived at school, Ms. Kit and a handful of children were there to greet my daughter - a welcome committee! They literally embraced her and reminded her that she was an integral part of the family. We feel so lucky to have been able to join the Rainbow family (no wonder there's a waiting list every year!) and know our daughter has the educational foundation and confidence to succeed in her entire school career and life. We are ever thankful for all they have given our family. Our daughter is inquisitive, open-minded, thoughtful and thirsty for knowledge and challenges - just like all the children lucky enough to be part of the Rainbow family.

This online university is well suited to the current conditions of having to do online classes as…read morethey have been exclusively home study since the 1980's. They are staffed with caring individuals who genuinely wish to help students in their academic careers, and their professors are very knowledgeable in their subjects and helpful as well. The university is excellent for introducing one to the lives of the saints, especially those of the early centuries of the Church. However, the endless numbers of videos that one has to naturally watch with any online program can lead to quite a bit of boredom so space yourself. That being said, the university has shown it will tolerate conservative, Tradition-minded Catholics to a point, particularly in their online chat forum. Moreover, you can be assigned readings from individuals who reportedly later became Freemasons, as may have been the case with Cardinal Leo Jozef Suenens, one of the principal movers and shakers behind Vatican II. The work assigned was a very much insider's look at Vatican II and so had value. But I wish I had known ahead of time of the allegation. The revelations contained in Suenens work on the plans for the Church's future were so shocking (almost like a conspirator's private notes) that they turned me from being one who believed the Council was valid but held at the wrong time in history to being invalid altogether. But that's not the fault of the university so if you do choose to take classes with it you will encounter a lot that is good but keep an eye out if you are Tradition-minded.
