This review is way overdue, but very well deserved. My son was here since he was 1 yr old & graduated preschool from here last summer. His sister is now at this same center since she was 6 months old. I'm truly so thankful to have found this center after having moved to the SFV without having known anyone or any centers in the area. Since the very beginning, all the teachers & staff have always been incredibly kind and supportive. I've never had a negative experience in the last 5.5 years my children have been here. Speaking from my own kids' experiences, they have always been well cared for and looked after. My son still asks to go visit his last teacher (Ms. Lupe - he loved her so much!) The teachers and staff have always communicated well with me, and have been honest and transparent in our conversations. The implementation of Class Dojo last year has been amazing with having all events & communications in one place. I absolutely loved the curriculum when my son was here - he learned SO much. It's truly impressive how much he already knew going into Kindergarten. He tested at or above grade level at the start of his Kindergarten year. All the classes are well structured with their outdoor play time and indoor learning schedules. I removed my previous review because, after reflecting on our family's experience, I no longer felt it accurately represented how I feel today. My daughter attended Tiny Thinkers beginning in December 2020 and remained there through age four, so this review reflects several years of experience rather than a brief enrollment. There were many things I genuinely appreciated about Tiny Thinkers. Ms. Jana, Ms. Delilah, Ms. Alejandra, and many of the teachers in the younger classrooms were incredibly kind, patient, and caring. Ms. Alejandra even helped potty train my daughter, and I will always be grateful for the love and support she showed our family. Those positive experiences are the reason this review is difficult to write. Unfortunately, our experience changed as my daughter got older. Around age four, she cried every day at drop-off. At the time, I assumed it was simply separation anxiety. Even now, over a year later, she still tells me she doesn't want to go back because "Ms. Lupe was mean to me." She brought it up again just yesterday, completely on her own. For context, my daughter is autistic and high-functioning. She is verbal, was successfully potty trained while attending Tiny Thinkers, and did not have significant behavioral issues such as aggression toward staff or other children. Like many young children, she sometimes struggled with transitions and occasionally needed extra patience and emotional support. What concerned me most was how those moments seemed to be handled. I often felt that when she struggled, the response was to remove her from an activity rather than help teach her through it. One example that has stayed with me was when she had difficulty sharing the soccer ball. Instead of being coached through taking turns and learning the expectations of the game, she was simply no longer allowed to participate. I understand preschool teachers manage busy classrooms and difficult situations every day, but I had hoped for a more nurturing, teaching-focused approach. Initially, my daughter attended Tiny Thinkers for part of the day while also attending a public school special day class. When that program changed, we had to find another full-time placement. At the time, it felt incredibly stressful, but looking back it turned out to be a blessing in disguise. She flourished almost immediately after transitioning. She now loves going to school and summer camp, participates happily, has grown tremendously socially and emotionally, and no longer cries at drop-off. Watching that transformation made me reflect differently on our experience and realize she simply needed an environment that was a better fit for how she learns and develops. I know every child is different, and many families may have a wonderful experience here, especially in the younger classrooms. However, if your child is neurodivergent or benefits from additional patience, flexibility, and emotional support, I would encourage you to ask detailed questions about how those needs are handled. I truly wanted to leave another glowing review because there are wonderful teachers at Tiny Thinkers who made a positive impact on our family. But knowing what I know now, I would make a different choice for my daughter, and I hope sharing our experience helps other parents find the environment that's the best fit for their child. read more

Now that we have had a fabulous, nurturing, and successful year at our preschool, I can give a much needed, over due review. This was the worst experience for us. My little STILL talks about how mean her teacher, Ms. Lupe, was to her and it's been over a year since she went here. Let me start by saying these "teachers" do not have degrees. They have certificates at the most. They do not know how to handle toddlers who have lots of energy. Or a special needs child. If you have a passive child, you may be a better fit here. Their way of handling difficult toddlers is to sit them in with the director in a chair. They do not communicate, or know how to communicate, or interpret a toddlers emotional needs, which makes a very frustrated toddler. Ms. Lupe was the worst. Her long sharp dragon lady nails alone shouldn't be allowed in working with toddlers. My 3 yr old child came home reciting "Give me my money" in which she learned with Ms. Lupe teaching them and filming them from a Tik Tok trend. She supposedly was given a warning from director Marisol ( who she is besties with). She came home with injuries multiple times, one being a huge black eye from a "monkey bar injury". She hated going to school every day. I really hope this policy changed, But after your initial tour, you will never see the inside of the school again, even for special holiday programs. They will have an Instagram live so you can watch your child perform. They say they have "an open door policy" because by state law, they have to. But you are not welcomed unannounced. If you buzz the ringer at the director's door, someone with come and crack the door open to see what you want. Then shut the door in your face while you wait outside. The few times I did go into Marisol's office, I heard all the screaming babies and little ones in the room next door. The smell of dirty diapers in the air. When you arrive to drop off or pick up, they meet you at the locked gate, you are NOT WELCOME to ever go inside. You will never be invited back for parent conferences, that is all done over the phone. They want as little contact with you as possible, other than to meet you at the pick up gate to complain about your child, in front of your child. They leave lunch boxes out in the heat and direct sun all day, lie and tell you they keep them inside. Some also don't speak English here. Some teachers speak very little English. They also had some State Violations while we were there. One being that they had lied about how many kids they had at the facility. This place is truly a mill. The ONLY kind and compassionate teachers that we encountered were Ms. Dalilah and Ms. Favi. Like I said, our experience was over a year ago, and I hope things have improved and changed. Please research and interview preschools before making that huge decision, these are our babies and most can't talk or are just starting to talk and put sentences together. And most importantly, TRUST your intuition. read more

My son has been with Tiny Thinkers since he was just two years old, and as we wrap up our time here, I can honestly say this place has been one of the biggest blessings in our lives. The amount of love, patience, and care every single staff member pours into the kids is unmatched. I've watched my son grow into a kind, smart, and confident little boy -- and so much of that is thanks to the amazing teachers at this school. They didn't just teach him; they truly helped me raise him. There were times when I was exhausted and overwhelmed as a parent, but knowing he was in such good hands gave me peace. These ladies became my village when I needed it most. I will forever be grateful for everything they've done for my son and for me. I've been with Tiny Thinkers since my son was about 7 months old--he's now 4 and getting ready to start TK. When we first enrolled during the pandemic, things were a bit low-tech and there were some ups and downs, which is understandable for that time. But over the years, the program has improved so much, and my son has truly thrived. He loved his time there, learned a lot, and we always experienced great communication and engaging activities. What I appreciate most is that when a concern does arise, the staff listens and responds, I feel heard and supported, which gives me peace of mind. I now have my second child enrolled, and he is also happy and thriving. Drop-offs are smooth, and I can tell he feels safe and cared for. My eldest is now in a dual immersion TK program and already knows a lot already (including some Spanish)--such a strong foundation from his time at Tiny Thinkers. I have had both of our kids enrolled here from the ages of 2-5 and have had the privilege to call these people family since 2021. They have poured so much love, care, and attention into my kids and have taught them more than just "school". They have helped instill confidence and strength to go into the real world. This place is so great because EVERY teacher knows your child and who you are. They make safety and communication a priority, which is huge. They always have new, engaging activites for the kids, as well as volunteer opportunities for the parents. They allow you to drop in whenever and check on what's happening. Ms Marisol is an amazing director. She always has an open ear, and is quick to accomodate with whatever situation you are in. Wow! If you are thinking of sending your child to childcare, this place is the BEST! I will try my best to describe how much this preschool means to me and my family... My daughter Eden started going to this school around 6 months old and I was very nervous to send her to daycare as any new mom would be... however, almost immediately I knew I made the absolute best choice for her, and in the nearly 6 YEARS that she has been there now, this place has NEVER let us down. When Eden's father unexpectedly passed away in 2020, the teachers and staff at Tiny Thinkers went above and beyond for her. I cannot thank them enough for guiding her through such a tragedy-- supporting her every Father's Day so she doesn't feel left out, allowing her to openly talk about/express her grief with them, and just overall showing the utmost kindness and love that she needed throughout the years. That is just ONE example of how incredible this place really is. I have never had to worry about my daughter when she's at school, I was always notified of any playground incidents, academic challenges, etc. I honestly felt like I was dropping her off with family every single day that she was there. As she is now going off to Kindergarten, I want to give the biggest THANK YOU on earth to the wonderful people that work here, who have essentially helped raise my sweet girl, and loved her every single day. I have two of my little ones here. My youngest is turning 3 years old and has been with tiny thinkers since he was 3 months old. And my other son is 4 years old abs has been with here inside he was 1 year old. They run a very tight ship here, they have a strict pick up and drop off procedure so it's VERY SAFE for the kids. I never have had to worry about anyone trying to get thru the gate or anything crazy. They're on top of everything. And besides that, all the teachers here are VERY LOVABLE. They love your babies as their own. You can just tell, with the happiness the teachers get when I drop off my boys. They've basically helped raise my kids. And for that, I'm forever grateful. They've learned soooooo much here, they for sure prepare them for kindergarten. Hands down, probably the best daycare in the valley. We had our daughter there for 2 years. ( 2.5 to 4.5 y/o). The teachers were very caring and she had the best time there. She learned how to write her name, ABCs , numbers etc during her time there. They fed her healthy food daily. The facility is clean and safe. Theres summer school available as well. First thing to know: this is not your typical daycare where kids just wander around just playing with toys and being placed in front of a TV rest of the day. There is a structured curriculum similar to a classroom environment and helps toddlers get used to this class structure when they move onto Pre-K/Kindergarten. Our child attended for 3 1/2 years beginning at 15 months. The initial start and separation were tough. Our child took 3 weeks to adjust to the change but once he got comfortable the development over time was substantial. In addition, when he was diagnosed with autism on a higher functioning spectrum, the staff were well equipped to help our child develop and redirect his energy to a more constructive one. Because of the early attendance at Tiny Thinkers, he was well equipped to attend an early start program at a nearby elementary. Thankfully, the school system had a bus route that dropped off our child to Tiny Thinkers where staff were there to receive him. Also, they do arts and crafts with the children, which they're proud of showing off to their parents. They have plenty of themed activities, like a Halloween parade, Christmas performances, summer camp. Overall, Tiny Thinkers was a great daycare for our child. Our child is always happy to attend elementary school due to placing him in Tiny Thinkers. read more

This place used to be great, now they are highly understaffed and if your child is special needs DO NOT bring them here. By the end of our time here my child was so frustrated that they began to harm themself due to the sheer stress of too many kids and not enough teachers. There are a few gems that work there that really care about the kids but some of them just don't and will take it out on the parents at pick up. This place is ran more like a tight ship in the sense that the children are ordered to do things and expected to immediately comply, it breaks my heart how much the quality of care has dropped. I was even told by a couple of the teachers that it would be in the best interest to put my child in a special needs school because "we aren't special ed teachers." DISGUSTING! On top of that we were constantly receiving notice that they had been fined for being out of ratio. read more

My son attended daycare and preschool here for 4 years, from the time he was 6 months, to when he got into TK, and I would be remiss to not credit this place with his amazing social skills, emotional intelligence, and his academic prowess. What he gained in his time here set him up for so much success as he transitioned to primary school and I can only humbly thank the staff for their help over the years. They are all wonderful, caring educators and showed genuine passion for what they do. There was also no doubt that my son was safe in their care as they followed very strict health and safety protocols, and the drop off and pick up procedure ran like a swiss watch. BEST PREPARATION FOR ELEMENTARY!! This has been an amazing care and teaching center for 2 of my boys! My eldest son started here at the age of 4 and my little one at the age of 2. My eldest graduated Pre-School with Mrs. Lupe and Ms. Abby as his teachers and when he began Kinder at a different school he was highly praised for how much he knew academically, until this day (1st Grade) he has been at the highest level in his class.He learned how to read when he began Kinder because he was so well prepared from what he learned at Tiny Thinkers. My younger son began at 2 yrs old and is now 5yrs old. He stopped attending the school when the pandemic began because I was able to work from home and care for them. I was worried that he was falling behind on being prepared for Kinder 2021. So I decided to enroll him into TK at my other sons school on Jan. 2021. He had not been doing any academic work since he stopped Tiny Thinkers in March2020, almost a whole year! His new TK teacher did an assessment and my son scored the highest in the class. She was very surprised at how much he knew. She said he was at Kindergarten level and asked me what school he had attended. It made me feel so happy to hear that and I give ALL the credit to Tiny Thinkers and his teachers Mrs. Rosa and Mrs. Dalilah and Mrs. Lupe as well. They are amazing teachers and truly care for the children. They always felt safe and I always felt at ease leaving my boys. My son Cameron attended this school from 13 months until 22 months when we moved 45 minutes away and had to leave this past month. Leaving Tiny Thinkers was the hardest part of the entire decision to move! Cameron loved his time at this school so much and he loved his teachers. My son was at Tiny thinkers from age 2 to 5 and just left to start kindergarten. everyone at the school is great (thank you Ms Marisol, Karla, and Delilah, and all!). He was always sad on days with no school because they really became his second family. Ms Karla has really been the most amazing teacher for his growth. She always loved him like one of her own, kept me up to date with what he was doing and learning, and taught him emotional skills that really has helped him. he was so shy but he would always come home saying ms Karla taught him to be brave, love himself, and how to use his words to his friends, she really prepped him for kindergarten and we were sooo sad to leave. My daughter attended Tiny Thinkers for much of the first year of her life. It was so difficult for me to go back to work and I was extremely nervous about putting her into daycare. However, Tiny Thinkers was the first school we visited and I could tell right away we had hit a winner. Right of the bat, there are great set-ups for each of the various age ranges they cater to. Each group of kids has their own playground and space, which was a load off of my mind, since my daughter was only three months old and I was weary of her playing around bigger kids. As she got older, I saw her having so much fun in her class with her teachers. They made me feel like they truly cared about her and were having such a great time watching her grow as well. There were loads of activities, arts & crafts, theme days, parties and much, much more. Additionally, they also have programs in the summer and the school year, at an added cost, if you're looking for even more for your child to do. If I had to point out one thing to criticize, there was just sometimes disconnect in communication. It was never a problem, so much as I just wanted to know everything about what was going on in her day, but when my husband would ask for how her day went, sometimes he would only get a vague explanation. Just some way of knowing what's up would be nice, but I'm also selfish and she's my first kid. I want to know it all! I switched shifts at work, so currently don't have daycare needs, this is the only reason my daughter isn't still attending Tiny Thinkers, but when the time comes for her to start doing Pre-K, we're definitely going to be happy to send her back. read more

As returning parents it was important that we make the correct choice in our younger sons headstart education. The remodel is very impressive and the outside play areas are definitely up to par. And the classrooms are very charming. Our son enjoys learning and even getting homework. Maxx's teacher is amazing with him and he really loves her. At first it was a little rocky but he enjoys his new environment and his father and I feel completely comfortable with him being there. Everyone loves him and had the patience to help guide him. I have been witness to see how this preschool/daycare improving physically exterior and interior and the program. Now my baby is 19 month old, she knows how to use sign langues, speak English and Spanish, even though we do not speak Spanish at home,she learned at the daycare. I thought this was going to be a great place for my son but definitely was NOT. The teachers did not communicate well with each other my son came home one day with a black eye and no one could explain it. In addition my son who is 8 months was 25lbs and healthy when he started here and after 2 months when we decided to take him out he had lost 5lbs. I can't say enough good things about Tiny Thinkers. My daughter has been attending for over a year now and she loves school. Beside the facts that I recommend day cares in general to any new parents and the younger the better but what this school has different is they actually put a lot of time and effort in teaching the kids new skills and they keep updating the parents with any new milestone that happens. In the past couple of months they had a circus show, reptile show, zoo show, bubble show and many days where they play in the water AND MY DAUGHTER LOVES IT. That is not really the norm in schools. After one week of my son attending tiny thinkers I knew It wasn't a place for him one day he came home with a full diaper another day he had dried up boogers and he would always Come home starving so I started packing him a bigger snack and they wouldn't give him all of it and he would still be super hungry when he got home. And they also gave me the wrong sippy cup which is very unsanitary and one of his bottles had a huge hole on the nipple which is weird because my son doesn't bite the nipples and one day I put it in his lunch box and it looked like it was untouched and he doesn't fall asleep without a bottle so I'm wondering how they put him to sleep and what bottle they used. Also whenever I pick him up before 5:30 they never give me the infant daily record which is also odd because it makes me feel like they fill everything out at the end of the day and just guess what to put. ever since my son started going here he's been scared of being around other people and he hates being left there and he is usually a happy social kid. read more

We are so sad our daughter will no longer be attending Tiny Thinkers. She started at Tiny Thinkers when she was 9 months. We were so nervous, since she had never been cared for outside of our home. Within a few weeks, our daughter found herself feeling right at home here. Yesterday was her last day and I already miss this school. We moved out of the area, so had to find a new school for her, but will forever be grateful for the great care that was provided to our baby in the 15 months she was here. Emma loves all of the teachers so much and we could tell they all loved her too. Our daughter learned so much and created such wonderful memories. Tiny Thinkers will forever hold a special place in our hearts! read more
