I've been coming to Piccola Trattoria for years, although I hadn't visited in quite some time…read more Coming back reminded me exactly why I fell in love with this restaurant in the first place. Graziella and her brother have created such a special dining experience. My favorite dish has always been the pistachio sauce ravioli. I didn't see it on the menu and mentioned how much I loved it, and Graziella was kind enough to make it for me anyway, explaining that it's now part of their rotating menu. That level of hospitality is rare and so appreciated. I usually never order ravioli as a main course anywhere else, but this dish is absolutely incredible and unlike any ravioli I've had. I was on a double date and convinced my friend to order the same dish because I couldn't stop talking about it. She absolutely loved it and understood immediately why it's my favorite. My fiancé and his cousin both ordered the lamb chops and couldn't stop raving about them. My fiancé substituted the seasonal vegetables for the arugula salad. He normally doesn't eat salad, but he finished the entire thing and said it was one of the best salads he's ever had. The dressing was amazing, and after trying it myself, I completely agreed. My fiancé's cousin, who I consider like a brother, was trying lamb chops for the first time and said he felt like he'd been missing out his whole life. I also ordered the Prickly Pear Margarita from the rotating cocktail menu and enjoyed it so much that I ordered a second one. The food was outstanding, but the atmosphere deserves recognition too. The patio is beautiful, romantic, and has such a relaxing ambiance. It was the perfect setting for a double date. After being away for a few years, I'm so glad I came back. The food, service, and hospitality were just as wonderful as I remembered. Piccola Trattoria remains one of my favorite restaurants, and I can't wait to return again soon.

They don't have parking unless you wanna pay for valet otherwise you have to walk a block. Bummer off first impression. Living in San Francisco there's endless authentic Italian restaurants to choose from on a daily. Such as Paradisio. Ordered mojito, Cesar salad, shrimp ravioli and Alfredo fettuccine. That Cesar salad was so tasteless and welted. Informed our waiter he dis absolutely nothing lol joke. The mojito was watered down. However the entrees was better. I would recommend entree nothing else. The service was ok. Just seem like the restaurants these days are trying to cut corners and back on cost which the customer is suffering from lack of quality.

It's easily one of the best restaurants in the area and has become a go-to whenever I'm visiting my sister. What really sets it apart is the service. The staff is incredibly kind, welcoming, and attentive. They remember their regulars and make you feel valued from the moment you walk through the door. That personal touch goes a long way and keeps us coming back. The food is consistently delicious, with comforting Italian classics that always hit the spot. Whether you're a local or just passing through, this is one of those restaurants that makes you feel like family. Great food, warm hospitality, and a neighborhood gem that Santa Clarita is lucky to have.

A great Italian spot!…read more Despite a busy night, the service was warm and welcoming. Our main server was great, but it's always a great sign when other servers come to check in on you too. The space is quite large, but a bit cramped. We were seated in a a patio-like space towards the back of the restaurant. We ordered the calamari, Mezzelune di Crostacei, and Tortelloni di Brasato. The calamari is highly recommended. It was fresh, lightly fried, and paired well with the sauce. The Mezzelune di Crostecei was amazing. The ravioli was perfectly cooked and the juices from the shrimp and scallop made it a perfect bite. The only disappointment was the Tortelloni di Brasato. The herb cream sauce was delicious and the pasta was perfectly cooked. However, the short rib filling was akin to a beef puree and several of the tortellonis had very little filling. Overall, I had a great experience and looking forward to try other menu items!

Our group included my mom, my sister, my boyfriend, a couple of friends, and me. I can honestly say this has become our new favorite spot. I ordered the branzino with roasted potatoes, and my goodness, I'm still thinking about it! It was absolutely delicious. My mom had the spinach salad, and we also shared a few appetizers and desserts. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. The service was outstanding. When we mentioned it was our first visit, everyone made us feel so welcome, and they even surprised us with a complimentary dessert. It was such a thoughtful gesture. The ambiance, the music, the food, and the warm hospitality made for a wonderful dining experience. We left happy and can't wait to come back. Thank you, Bella Cucina! So I decided to check out this hidden little Italian joint a bit down the street. I wasn't sure is it was open during lunch so I'm glad I decided to stop and take a look. Upon entry, the restaurant feels super intimate- almost a cozy vibe if it weren't for the white tablecloths and linen napkins. Once I was seated, looked over the menu and ordered, I decided to look up reviews on Yelp. Not as positive as I usually look for before selections a restaurant but I am so glad I came in before I made this snap judgement! I also saw that although being open for lunch, they again close to prep for dinner service so I am equally glad I stopped when I did. I selected the tequila chicken fettuccine, at the recommendation of the wonderful man who sat and served me, ( I was thinking about carbonara). I will probably wake up craving this pasta!! Flavorful, chicken cooked perfectly and not sitting in an overly creamy sauce. I also enjoyed a glass of Sauvignon Blanc, crisp and lovely, and upon inquiry, learned it is not available in stores! I'll probably be back for a glass or two of wine at the very least!

There was a large party of 20 when we were there, along with a couple outside, then afterwards a family of 5, and another customer. The 2 servers upfront were great with everyone: friendly, smiling, and promptly attentive. Because of the large party, our food took longer than normal, but they did bring out our calamari so we weren't waiting with nothing. The portion on the calamari was disappointing. They should seriously consider doubling the portion. My son's pepperoni pizza was really good. Lots of pepperoni and cheese. The dough was thin and delicious. Size was just right. My wife had Ciopino. It was good and we would order it again. I ordered the bolognese and was good as well. Plenty of meat, sauce, and pasta. Good temperature for all three entrees. In terms of the bread, that should be improved. It should be sourdough, but instead it appears to be regular sliced read that they cut into small squares and toasted it a little. Not sure if they added any butter or garlic paste. Small improvements and they get a higher rating.

Flash forward to 2026, it's a Monday around 8pm and knowing that this place doesn't close until 10pm, we figured we'd give it a shot. We arrived around 8:20pm, and asked for a table for 2. We were immediately directed into the bar which I thought was a little odd but I figured maybe they had just cleaned the main dining room for the night and it would be easier for them if they sat us in the bar. There was one customer at the bar, but he left about ten minutes into us arriving. After the bartender closed his tab out, she came to our table and took our order. She offered us bread, but it never came out. We started with an order of the figs prosciutto and salami flatbread, and the Monterey Bay tempura calamari. Both dishes came out in about 12 minutes. My partner and I enjoyed the calamari but were more impressed with the flatbread. The way the fig, and cheese, and prosciutto all blended with one another was deliciously sweet and savory. Once the appetizers came out, we put in an order for our entrees and drinks. My partner got a watermelon spritz, and I got a sparkling water. For dinner, my partner ordered the Penne Bolognese and I ordered the Linguine Pesto. The entrees took about an additional 20 minutes to whip up. I think if you're in the mood for pasta, these are both great picks. Personally, I thought the Penne Bolognese had more meat than I would have preferred, but I recognize that I'm not a huge meat eater, and for someone like my partner who has to have meat in every meal, it was incredible. My Linguine Pesto was perfectly cooked, cheesy, and the pesto flavors were prominent. I'm guessing this is a one off thing, but when we were seated in the bar area - I was getting bit by mosquitos like crazy. When I got home, I had at least 3 bites on my stomach, and then a handful running down my leg. To be honest, mosquitos love me, so I normally wouldn't have mentioned this but my partner who doesn't typically get bit as much as I do, started getting attacked too and we had to leave because we were so itchy. Overall the food here is fantastic - and I think would be a great date night spot. For 2 appetizers, 2 entrees, and 2 drinks (1 alcoholic) our bill was $115 subtotal. There's also plenty of parking which is a plus.

I ordered the sweet ginger soy with pappardelle pasta and bulgogi with Parmesan cheese, with medium heat. Perfect balance of flavors. The bulgogi added just enough texture. The pepperoni tastes great and the mozzarella cheese has a creamy texture that only good mozzarella provides. The garlic bread has a nice balance of seasonings and crispness. The service is impeccable. They are very friendly and the food is delivered to your table as it comes out of the kitchen. The ambiance is nice and quiet and the restaurant is very clean.
