Tiny Giants is an incredible daycare! Our son has been going to TG since he was 3 months old (now he's 3). The curriculum is wonderfully diverse--blending creative arts, music class, early STEM (yes, I said STEM... even for a daycare), literacy, and cultural learning in a way that keeps our child engaged and excited every day. It's clear that the program is thoughtfully designed to support all aspects of development. The staff at Tiny Giants are truly exceptional. One of their staff members has been with Tiny Giants for 15 years. They're kind, attentive, and deeply dedicated to each child's well-being and growth. You can feel the warmth and care from the moment you walk in, and it gives us so much peace of mind knowing our child is in such capable, loving hands. Things we love about TG ... weekly music class, updates throughout the day about how much they've eaten, potty breaks, nap time (start and end time) and the pictures and videos! Lots of pictures and videos. They have recently started doing a themed show and tell on Fridays. This has helped our son to express himself , describe something and create a story. This has also built his own self confidence and to think about something more meaningfully. Music class with Mr Ray is absolutely the best day of the week for our son. Mr Ray loves his job and he will shout it from the roof tops! They also have spirit days and tons of events throughout the year to bring families together and give us something to do with our little ones. Our son & daughter (3 years and 1 year) have absolutely thrived in the care of their teachers at Tiny Giants Uptown. The teachers and staff have been indispensable to our kids development and milestones. The running joke in our household is that the teachers at TG need to slow down so we can catch up. Our kiddos love learning through the indoor and outdoor play and child-centered curriculum and activities that Tiny Giants offers. They have especially benefitted from the socialization they get with their classmates. I've been especially impressed over the years by the caring community that Tiny Giants has fostered among their families. Tiny Giants is THE BEST center! My daughter came from the infant center down the street and the teachers in the Bunny room made her feel welcomed and at home! She is well cared for, has lots of fun, and is provided with many learning opportunities. Most importantly, she is in a respectful classroom where each child is valued for who they are! We love Tiny Giants! We came here from another daycare when my daughter was 15 months. The program is very structured with lots of different activities and enrichment. My daughter learns so much and really thrives with knowing what to expect every day. It means so much to me that I never have to worry when she is at school because I know that she is loved, and safe, and happy. Our son has been at Tiny Giants for almost a year and a half starting in the infant center and now in a toddler room. We have nothing but fantastic things to say about the center. The teachers take great care of the kids and really connect with each kid individually. The communication between the teachers, admin, and parents is fantastic. We typically get 5-10 videos or pictures each day as well as real time updates on meals, diaper changes, naps, etc. through the app. The facilities are super clean and well-maintained. They do a good job of communicating major changes within the organization as well as process changes. We started during the height of COVID and they were always very upfront with what processes they wanted parents to follow for drop off and pick up. They are always asking for feedback from parents as well so you know your voice is being heard! Another great thing about the center is the relatively low turnover with teachers. The teachers seem to be genuniely happy and enjoy working there and you can see it with how much they care about the kids. read more

Exceptional daycare center! Our little one started at Tiny Giants infant center in early 2022. We were nervous parents dropping him off but he immediately thrived, thanks to the love and care of his teachers and the entire center. After he reached 15 months, he transitioned to the toddler center and we couldn't be happier with the experience. He has grown immensely and loves going to school every day. His teachers are warm, communicative, and ensure he thrives by tailoring their style to meet his needs. We are SO grateful to have found Tiny Giants. My daughter started in the infant room at 4 months old. It was so scary to pass my baby off to a stranger, but we immediately started to build trust with the wonderful caregivers in the infant room. We could always tell that she was truly loved, and she felt it, too. It showed in her reaction when she saw her teachers at drop off in the morning. Our transition over the the toddler room at Uptown has been seamless. She is learning so much and we can tell that she is so well cared for. As an employee who also has 2 children enrolled at Tiny Giants Uptown, I can verify how outstanding TG is. From an employee's standpoint; it's safe to say that the staff treats each and every member as family and the admin team is very supportive. The administration team is always coming up with great incentives for the teachers and staff members to keep them motivated and happy to come to work each and every day. And it's awesome to see how much each and every teacher cares for every child. I've never seen a daycare center who cares SO much about the employees as well as treats every child as their own. These teachers always make sure to be at their very best each and every day so every child not only enjoys coming to school each and every day, but the children know that they are loved and cared for every day as well. And from a parents standpoint as said before, the teachers are so great with the children. I enjoy receiving videos and pictures throughout the day, and seeing the lesson plans for each week. The kids are always learning something new and creating the most beautiful art. This center is very hands on and is sure to focus more on the social/emotional aspect of a developing child. I cannot say enough amazing things about Tiny Giants. From day 1 (when our daughter transitioned here from the Infant Center which we also loved), she has been in an environment where you can feel the love, joy, enthusiasm, and learning from the moment you walk into a classroom. We are continuously inspired not by the activities the teachers create - from the art and music to the early literacy & numeracy activities, all of which is very play based and fun but also teaching essential skills that will set kiddos up academically. However, more than that we deeply value the social & emotional strategies and life skills she learns, the friends she makes, & the enthusiasm with which she talks about her teachers and friends all of which is the result of intentional & thoughtful work by the teachers and staff at Tiny Giants. My husband and I have three children, so I feel like we've gone through the ropes of the good and the bad with childcare. Our youngest has been with Tiny Giants since she was 4 months old. She's two now. Only in my dreams could I have imagined my daughter experiencing a nursery school like this. The curriculum, teachers, and opportunities offered to the children are diverse and always changing. Breakfast and lunch is included in the tuition -- options are organic, local, and vegetarian if you wish. They will respect your breast milk wishes for infants. They offer yoga, music (like a real guitarist who sings and dances with the kids), art, science experiences, teachers have ongoing training to learn the latest ways to engage kids, colorful spaces with different montessori-like classrooms, and hire outstanding teachers. The teachers know us by name and our other kids. We are greeted, a light check-in, and anything they need to know to start the day. By this point my child has already run away from me and playing with the other kids. I rarely get a good bye from my own child... it's a "bye mom..." situation. The teachers also seem very happy there. I can't say I've seen much turnover. Always the same, happy faces. Diversity is important to us as a family because we are are a mixed family from two different countries. For me, if I can have the choice, I'd like my child to experience different backgrounds because this is part of their identity now. We speak three languages, too. If you'd like, the teachers who speak other languages are willing to speak to your child in those languages. From a language standpoint, any exposure to new language at a young age teaches the brain how to respond to grammar structure - which is why kids are like sponges at these ages. During the day, they use an app that allows me to see if my child is eating, sleeping, and of course pictures and videos of the day. I can also send messages to the teachers if I have a question or want to tell them I'll pick her up early. The infant and early childhood centers are spotless. Like "go ahead and lick the floor, you'll be fine" spotless. Outside shoes are prohibited in the classrooms for hygiene reasons -- and they provide booties for you when it's not raining/snowing. All the parents commit to this because it means the kids can play freely instead of having dirt and slush in their spaces. The center also mops and vacuums the spaces multiple times per day -- there always seems to be someone cleaning. I found the tuition competitive within the neighborhood. Day care is so expensive. In this case, I tell myself this is a real investment to my child's early childhood education because she's getting so much out of her experience at Tiny Giants. read more

I truly can't recommend Tiny Giants enough. We moved from out of town where we had corporate-subsidized onsite childcare through my job. I was nervous bc I didn't think anything could compare to what our family was accustomed to in the childcare realm. The TG staff (front office administration to lead teachers to support teachers to floaters to outside extracurricular specialized teachers), the warmth and learning were all top notch. We began at TG with our 3rd child just before her second birthday and she has now "graduated" Pre-K and is moving on to big school (kindergarten) in a few weeks. Our time at Tiny giants was a constant stable comfortable 2nd home for our child! The true test was navigating Covid and all the challenges that ensued. The protocols the Tiny Giants team put in place as well as the communication with ever-changing circumstances never ceased to go above and beyond. Our child has thrived and we made relationships that will continue long after we don't go there every day. read more

We sent both kids to TG- one is still there and the oldest is a graduate. What sets the center apart is how they treat their teachers. I feel they set high expectations for them but provide lots of support, resources and encouragement. Many of them pursue additional education. I am impressed by the lesson planning and creative activities planned each day. I love how often teachers are celebrated (teachers appreciation week, holidays). I feel this leads to engaged and loving teachers and support staff who, in turn, love and support my kids. The administration is very communicative and open to feedback. They seem to be on top of training staff and also plans lots of community engagement activities for families as well as opportunities to give back to local families in need. As a first time mom, my greatest fear is being without my son. But after enrolling him in Tiny Giants, I've never felt better, secure, and happy. I appreciate heavily what his teachers do for my small little family both in school and out. He especially loves the music class they offer with Mr.Ray! I love how teachers include Spanish in their circle time as well as creative lesson plans overall. I said it in my review of the infant center and I'll say it again here; I can't say enough good things about Tiny Giants. My son started in the Infant Center down the street when he was just 3 months old. He eventually moved to a toddler room at the Early Learning Center and the number of age appropriate activities they have planned (in both classrooms) is crazy. Every day I trust that my son is having a great day painting, drawing, dancing, running, reading, and having fun with his teachers and playmates. To have that peace of mind when leaving your kid with others is, as every parent knows, invaluable. In addition, during these unprecedented times, they have gone above and beyond to ensure that each classroom is as safe as humanly possible. Our daughter started at the Tiny Giants Infant Center, and then transitioned to TG Early Learning Center when she hit toddler age. I cannot express how amazing this place is! Our daughter was placed in the Monkey room, and she had a ball! TG employs a play-based curriculum, and offers field trips, and music Thursday with Mr. Ray. The teachers were warm and welcoming, and really helped our daughter become less shy around strangers. The teachers were super communicative, and worked to involve parents in classroom activities. I love Tiny Giants, and so does my almost-2-year-old daughter! The teachers are so warm, so friendly, so quick to give my daughter a hug when she needs it, so attentive. I really hit the jackpot with this daycare. I'm moving to Minneapolis, and as I explore other day cares, I realize how truly wonderful and how truly special Tiny Giants is. Our son started at Tiny Giants when he was 3 months old and we've had nothing but a good experience with the teachers and staff. They welcome him every morning with great energy and he always lights up as soon as we walk in the doors. I love when I drop him off or pick him and and see the way he looks at his teachers, which always puts me at ease knowing that he loves them. There is always music playing or some activity to get the infants moving. They clean toys, bedding, sleepers multiple times a week and have a daily process for cleaning. They offer formula, purees and snacks which is helpful so I don't have to pack an extra bag in the morning. The best part is that they track everything on an app in real time so you can see when you kid last ate, nap, etc. They also post pictures and videos so you can see what your kid is up to all day. Excellent childcare is hard to find in the city but this is the place to go on the north side. We were extremely lucky for the opening at this location. The staff at Tiny Giants have been phenomenal! My daughter started out at the Infant Center when she was 10 weeks old and is now at this center. We are extremely happy with this daycare. The center is newly remodeled/newer, so her classroom is only months old. There's a huge indoor play space and they go to the nearby park once a day when it's warm enough. They do a variety of activities, assist with potty training, are awesome at communicating and sharing information, and use Tadpoles to share photos, videos, meal information, lesson plans, and diaper changes throughout the day. They also have music class once a week and monthly field trips. The staff are all so nice and welcoming and truly love the children. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Tiny Giants! read more

My son started attending Tiny Giants when he was 15 months old. Our nanny quit without notice, and as you can imagine, it left us in a real bind. We were hesitant to hire another nanny after this, so we started to look at daycares immediately. After asking around, a friend had nothing but amazing things to say about her experience at TG, so we called and begged them to see if they could find an opening for us. My son is now a little over two and a half and we could not be happier with our decision to enroll here. I regret not starting him with TG from the beginning! The curriculum and structure is so well planned, and the teachers have shown nothing but love and care for my little guy. Just last week, we were reading a book about butterflies and he looked at me and said, "A butterfly grows in a chrysalis." I had to google what that meant, but he's absolutely right! It's only because of TG that he has learned so many new things, this being but one example (they just raised and released butterflies in the class). We just had our second child, and he is now enrolled, too. I absolutely adore all the infant teachers, as well. We have had amazing experiences in each of the classrooms we have been in (infant, toddler, pre-k) and I love knowing that my experience is consistent as they grow. Organic food and vegetarian options are important to me, and TG provides excellent meals and snacks for my son. Organic formula is included in the price of tuition for the little one, too, which is great to not have to worry about making bottles every day. I also love that my older son goes on field trips to fun places around the city, and both of my kids go on walks and to parks to spend time outdoors almost daily when weather permits. When it doesn't, they have a big play space. Staff is so friendly and kind, and I love that they have an onsite music teacher (Mr. Ray - if you're reading this, thanks!) for all classes (including my little 5 month olds class). They just expanded and this location and it is very new and modern. We spent time in the infant center up the street, as well, and love that location just the same. We are so happy here, and are very grateful to have found a place where we know our children are in the best care possible. read more
