I can't say enough wonderful things about Wedgwood Montessori, Miss Metti, Karina & Maria! From…read morethe moment we walked in, it was clear that this Montessori preschool is a special place. The staff are incredibly warm, caring and dedicated to creating a nurturing environment where each child is valued as an individual. The classrooms are thoughtfully designed to foster independence, creativity and critical thinking, with a perfect balance of structure and freedom. My child flourished here - not just academically, but socially and emotionally as well. The Montessori approach allows them to take ownership of their learning, explore their interests, and develop at their own pace. The emphasis on hands-on learning and practical life skills has been invaluable, and it's amazing to see the growth in confidence and self-reliance. As a first-time parent, I've learned so much from the teachers here - not just about my child, but about parenting. Their gentle guidance and encouragement have been such a support to me. The way they model patience, respect and positive discipline has helped me approach parenting with more confidence and understanding. I never expected that the school would offer me so much help along the way! I truly believe that choosing Wedgwood Montessori was one of the best decisions we've made for our child and I wholeheartedly recommend this preschool to any parent looking for a thoughtful, child-centered educational environment. We had peace of mind for her care while at work and I can't thank them enough!

The leadership (Metti) and staff (Karina) provide not just implementing preschool curriculum but also integrate nurturing and social emotional aspects to guide kids to learn/ know the community and be part of it in a positive way. Love that they differentiate outdoor shoes from indoor shoes to keep the classroom floor neat and clean, love the concept of stone soup festival for fall (kids learn to bring their favorite veggies to share with all and prep the food together), love that they host special celebrations for Mother's Day and Father's Day (customized), love that they have a super huge sandbox outdoor with covered so it won't get wet, love the staging / theater cabin where kids can explore their endless imagination, love their slide are wide and smooth, love that they don't share hamlet to prevent lice. My kids learned so much not just about colors numbers alphabet animals but also the space, planets, insects' life cycle, math, earth, ...etc that my kids were ahead when they started kindergarten. My kids always wanted to stay and play and interact with peers and staff until the school close and never wanted to skip school. The school hours fit our needs for working parents and tuitions are definitely reasonable. Definitely highly recommend WM!! Thank you so much Metti and Karina!

Naturally, I was concerned about this transition; anxious about the adjustment period and a little weepy that he would be under the care of others every day! This feeling of uneasiness quickly subsided. Upon our very first visit, the PFM team jumped into action and together we put a comfortable transition plan into place. The teachers in his classroom (as well as the Director and Assistant Director) were very warm and showed a genuine interest in our sons onboarding, providing personal updates throughout his day as well as advice on naps and feeding. Relationships quickly bloomed. The online portal that is updated by his teachers throughout the day documented sleeping, eating and diaper patterns, giving us full visibility to what his days looked like. All of this provided me with peace of mind, which is what you need as a new parent during this transition. Fast forward four months: we have an extremely happy child who lights up every day at drop off for school and is in no rush to leave at pick up time! Children cannot fake their excitement, so you know that this is genuine. The child-led philosophy of Montessori allows our son freedom in the classroom to "choose his own adventure" every day, while still providing him with a structured curriculum that has enabled him to surpass his milestones. Being a very active child, our son is thriving in this environment and we have seen tremendous growth in him, both socially and developmentally. It is evident that the team here truly cares about the children and love what they do. I would recommend PFM to any families seeking a child care experience that is nurturing, community oriented and child focused. It is so much more than just a school or day care, and has exceeded our expectations.

He is learning, developing, and experiencing so much faster and more than he would anywhere else. The staff and curriculum at PFM are top notch and it shines through in my child. Every single day he comes home with new and exciting things to talk to me about. I know my child is getting the BEST experience there is to offer. Not only are the Montessori program and staff 5 star, but so is the classroom environment, meal plan, playground, community, owner and location. I wouldn't hesitate a second to think about enrolling your child in this school.

The educators here are not only exceptionally skilled, but also deeply compassionate, committed to seeing and nurturing the best in every child. The school fosters independence, confidence, and a strong sense of community. Some preschools strike me as chaotic, while others seem a bit too library-like; I think Northwest Montessori strikes a thoughtful balance between academic learning and play, ensuring a structured yet lively classroom environment. We've seen our kids develop a broad range of skills--motor, executive function, literacy, math, creativity--within a highly cooperative setting, and they have of course made many close friends. I also think that the Northwest Montessori team is deeply committed to INCLUSION, embracing children of all backgrounds and needs including neurodiverse learners. I've always felt that every staff member at NWM, from teachers to administrators, is dedicated to creating a space where each child feels at home and can reach their fullest potential. The Wedgwood campus has three classrooms, each mixed-age from 2.5yo to 6yo (thru Kindergarten). I wasn't sure how a mixed-age classroom would work at first, but honestly it's been so awesome--it's super cool to watch kiddos learn to mentor and teach one another, and my kids have picked up so many leadership skills from being in a mixed-age environment. They have a lovely little playground that is both secure and offers a wide variety of equipment, and the kiddos always have a wonderful time. This school has not only supported our child's growth, but has helped our family heal from previous bad experiences. Our older child has since graduated and is thriving in public school, while our younger one is still benefiting from this incredible learning environment. We couldn't be more grateful for the dedication of the educators at Northwest Montessori, and we wholeheartedly recommend it to any family seeking a nurturing, inclusive, and empowering early education.

NW Montessori is all that I hoped a child care center would be and more. My son has only been there a couple months, but I think its the best decision I have made. He is much happier there than Lil People's World.

That was this morning's conversation with my 4 year old. And we often have similar conversations throughout the week. "Is it a school day?" "When can I go back to school?" He loves his school! So I figured it was about time I share his and my love for his school with others. My son's confidence and independence has soared since starting Hand in Hand Montessori. His teachers have really helped his social skills, as well as allow him to work on the things he enjoys, like letters and numbers. He comes home and shows me all the yoga poses he's learned. It's adorable! The schedule, 8:30-3:30 is perfect for us. It really has jumpstarted him for Kindergarten. The small class size is also great for my kid who doesn't do well with too much noise and activity. I feel fortunate to have found a school my son loves, allows him to learn at his own pace, and he always looks forward to going.

Gina and Erik are also great resources for parents, especially parenting challenges.

There's hardly any turnover, which provides a stable and consistent environment for the children. Plus, the abundance of supporting staff ensures that each child gets plenty of 1:1 attention. The program director is also fantastic--she's incredibly on top of things and always approachable for any questions or concerns. The classrooms are always kept clean, and it shows. Our child doesn't fall sick nearly as often compared to our friend's kids who go to other schools. This has been a huge relief. Communication at the school is excellent. We appreciate the verbal handoff we get during pickups, and the e-platform (Transparent Classroom) they use is a great tool for keeping us updated with hour-by-hour insights into our child's day. School premises feels very safe and secure by design. They have an always locked outer gate, and outsiders including parents have to be let in by the staff. Each classroom then has their own doors and separated from classrooms. The playground is also nicely secured by a strong fence. Lastly, we love the extra sessions they offer for parents. These are a great opportunity to meet other families and learn about important topics related to raising a child.

We love the cozy, house-setting of this school where the two teachers are able to give lots of attention to the children. The teachers: Katherine and Rene were both well-versed in the Montessori method, at the same they incorporate the fun and art into the learning process. They also offer Spanish each day during 2nd circle time, and cooking day on Fridays. For older children they offer an after lunch program with more practices on reading, writing & art 3 days a week. There are many animals & creatures around the school where the students are able to observe and help take care of.
