She keeps the schedule running on time, knows each kid by name, and what works and doesn't work for them. That's impressive considering how many kids she works with in just a single day! When I addressed the situation, she blamed my son and said that he would never learn how to swim and that he was unteachable, so I took him out of that school. We went there for a session and my son didn't swim and didn't graduate. Took a second session, and nothing. I guessed we weren't lucky then.

Teresa's approach is loving and trusting but with the right amount of "tough love" that teaches the children how to survive in any water survival situation. My 2 year old most recently was tested in a real life situation when she lost her balance on a pool step and fell backwards in the pool; she instantly almost naturally knew to float on her back with her chin up until she knew she was near the pool wall to grab on. My child would never have learned this skill and most importantly done it under pressure without the teachings of "T.T.". The thing that impressed me the most when I first met Teresa was the fact that this special lady is truly in the business of teaching children to swim because she wants to save lives-and I know for a fact that she is every time she gets in the pool to teach a child!
