The pool is in the teachers backyard. Virginia has the backyard set up like a jimmy buffet vacation which is very tiki. It's very tranquil. Her pool is large enough for kids to do laps. Both kids graduated and we are now enrolled in swim maintenance. Indoor lessons with an air conditioned lobby are THE BEST and the facility has everything you could need - bathrooms, changing tables, sitting area, books for the kids to look at while waiting. Ms. Jen was our instructor and I felt instantly confident with her can-do attitude. My 15 month old daughter crabbed/cried all 3 weeks. In the first week I was wondering if lessons were the right thing for her at this age but Ms. Jen assured me that she was progressing and by about 1.5-2 weeks something just clicked, and she graduated in 3 weeks. My son loved the structure of going to swim class every day. He loved getting a sticker at the end of each lesson and then telling our family all about the lessons and seeing the photos I would take. He graduated in 4 weeks and then was a little sad to not be going to class every day thereafter! You would think they would go above and beyond considering this gym is one of the smaller gyms around with absolutely no amenities! I also heard they will be raising prices with no added benefits. This gym does not go by the anytime gym rule of letting in other gym members from other anytime gyms. They will stop you at the door and tell you to leave! This place does not care about their members. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else for a membership. It's def not worth it!
