Went to Tint World to have my new car tinted, ceramic coated and PPF done. Jason was super helpful and could tell right away that I was going to be over the top picky... They kept me updated during the whole process and kept my car safe and locked in their bay as promised! I picked up my car I gave it the pick a part once over and they did everything that we had discussed it looked great! I got to experience the ceramic coating first hand it rained and the water ran right off and dried spotlessly ! It was definitely worth the every penny. Needed 2 cars done because of the stupid tint laws in North Carolina. I had 17 rating on tint , got both cars in California , but could not pass inspection here as you need 35 or above. So spent 900 to have windows retinted ( both cars) Both front and back and rear window. Not windshield. Took about 5 hours per car. Car tint as of 2022 august is in the crosshairs now from the state level so be prepared if you have darker than 35 tint rating. Tint world did good job. No bubbling or tears. Been a month. read more

Be careful with this place... if you use your card get ready for fraudulent charges. I never use my debit card anywhere I normally keep cash on me. This day I use my card and 2 days later I have over 1k of fraudulent charges. Ripping people off must be what keeps this place going. read more

This is the WORST place to get your tint done, I have been back 5 times now (purely because there was an issue each time, if I hadn't paid good money I would have gone elsewhere)! There are plenty of other places to get work done, stay away unless you like having to wait hours upon hours to get work done and then having to return to fix the botched jobs that they do! UNPROFESSIONAL THEIVES I visited their business 3 months ago in order to get a push start key fob for my vehicle. They kept my car there all day just to tell me that they didn't have the part my vehicle needed. They said I could pay them the money needed for the part and they would call me in a week, when it came in to do the install. I paid the money and did not hear from them for almost two months. I then proceeded to call them and was told that they "forgot". They said I could come in for install . So I called when I was on my way only to be told, they only do those installs on Saturday's. I came back the next Saturday and they didn't " have my part" and they refused to refund the money I already paid. So unless you want to get your money stolen and trash service. I guess I should've read the reviews before I left my car to be detailed. I chose the premium detail which is wash wax and interior, the interior looked great but the exterior I could've got a better job at a drive-through car wash. When I discussed my concern they asked if I could bring it back in two days which wasn't an option so they gave me a discount a whopping 5% a whole seven dollars on $150 detail. The tax was more than that. They did give me a coupon but what is the coupon worth if you never go back there which I never will. They left bugs on the bumper and on the mirrors and streaks on the front and the side. The detailer told me I chose the wrong option I should have chose the buffing option to get those out. However when I ask him to get some cleaner and scrub them, they seemed to come off. Oh well, I guess next time I'll read the reviews read more

BEWARE! Work here is sloppy and installers are not detailed. My installer smelled of alcohol and acted as if he was drunk! So far they've had to re-do my tint FOUR times due to installer errors ranging from crooked edges to debris caught between tint and window to scratches and folds/bends in the tint at time of application. I think they even scratched my glass by taking a razor to one of the edges to "straighten" it up. The owner Brian is impossible to deal with. Avoid this shop at all costs! read more

This place is AWSOM, Greensboro, NC, staff is friendly, manager is people person, had my 4 door car tinted, when they say 4 doors, it's 4 door, starts from window on passenger side and goes all the way around to the passenger side, not like others who Groupon you for 4, will change your appointment time when you get there, blame you and try to charge you extra for small windows etc and other stuff on a 4 door, it's Thomasville to be exact, get them to text all not by talking on phone, unless you want rude service and pay more than your Groupon, it happened to me and you may be next. Went in for what i thought would be a straight forward paint protection and ceramic coating job, paid up front and their not-certified installers did more damage then good to my car. Set up an appointment was quoted 2 hrs to do the job (tint driver and passenger front window as well as windshield) they came out at the 3 hr mark and said 30 more mins then 15 mins later came out and told me another hour and after that hour past let me know they had NOT even started the 2 door windows. i had just spend 4 hours detailing my truck. The kid who took my truck to the back immediately drove it through the ONE mud puddle in the parking lot. When I finally got my truck back there was liquid all over my freshly cleaned interior. No one cared to at least wipe it off. On top of that they managed to seal water spots under the tint after I had meticulously made sure there would be none in the glass. I don't like lazy and sloppy And thats what I got. They advertise services that their technicians can't do; I ordered aftermarket headlights to install, everything amounted to $600. The tech didn't put all the screws in the brackets that hold the headlights in, my headlights are STILL LOOSE, and they didn't wire my daytime running lights correctly. When I bring it to their attention, they say there's nothing they can do." Terrible service. Just stick to tinting windows. read more

Horrible. Will not be back. I already knew my back taillight wasn't working. I was charged $57 diagnostic fee to tell me what I had already told them. They made $50 for 5 minutes worth of work & they did nothing to try and fix the problem. Told me I could buy a new LED tail light from them if I wanted. It's not out. Beware! Got my windows tinted here and they did a very poor job. Ten months later there are still bubbles and kinks in the tint. They also scratched the rear defrost which now does not work. I pre paid for an entire subwoofer installation and a Kenwood radio. They took my car in at 12 noon, told me it would take 3-4 hours, called me after I left, added $40 more for labor and $49.99 for additional parts. This is after I paid $1326.00. They called me a second time to say the wood grain trim in my car was broken when they took the dashboard apart. But it wasn't broken before they installed the radio. They were completely unapologetic for breaking my trim, that's going to cost me $182 to replace. And finally, when I picked my car up at 7:00 on Friday, after they had it for 7 hours, I was double charged the original $1326 AGAIN. When I went back to tell them about it, the 89.99 that I was supposed to have been charged turned into over $100, so I didn't get my $1326 back, and nobody apologized once. I have used Tint World for many things many times before, but after this, never again. read more

DO NOT GET YOUR WINDOWS TINTED HERE. Paid for the highest grade window tint because I drive a nice car and don't want the look of cheap crap tint. Comes with a "lifetime warranty." I'm stuck with bubbles on my passenger side window because it wasn't "bad enough" to replace, if I pay $600+ for tint that comes with a lifetime warranty it better not have anything noticeable. Even worse is my windshield... they jack it up so bad that they don't even argue about redoing it. Well I've had it redone 4 times and they still cannot do it right. Considering trying to get them to remove it and give me a refund for windshield only. It's ridiculous because they only do warranty work M-T. Guess what happens if you work? Welllll we need hours to take time and do it right. Okay leave work and bring it up before lunch and give them plenty of time. 4 Times now and they still have a crap ton of bubbles. I went to get my front two windows tinted on my truck as dark as possible but still within the legal limit of 32%. After I left I noticed on my drivers side window they had not tinted the entire window. I took it back and they re-tinted it. The next day I noticed there was a peanut sized air bubble in the tint and so I took it back once again. I was not charged for either time I brought my vehicle back as I shouldn't have been since it was their mistake. The other day I went to get an inspection and my passenger window was above the legal limit but my drivers side was not. It did not pass inspection because of this. Tint world is not the place to take your vehicle to be tinted. They are not consistent and do bad work. Do not go there. read more

If I could give less than 1 star I would. This place is horrible. BEWARE!!! As mentioned elsewhere, work is sloppy, owner threatened, had a heat gun stolen from my trunk, which was returned after confronting. Was sold vinyl striping as Upper Grade vinyl. They put on cheap vinyl, 5 trips to return to the Tint World Greensboro location and still isn't right. Owner took over from fired manager and is a complete joke. No customer service, thinks more highly of himself then needs to be, denegrated my car, was a complete and utter failure as a store owner/manager. I originally went in to see if they could wire a auto dimming mirror that I had purchased used. They were not able to. In lieu of that I decided to get my windows tinted. That would block a lot of glare from car lights behind me. They were able to take me right in. They even took me back to work so I didn't miss any time. I picked up the car later that day. Looked great! The personnel were friendly courteous and professional. I will be back to have additional work done. read more
