Her voice was so lyrical and beautiful, without even knowing where I would get married I asked her if she was available to perform on my wedding day. From there, working with Farrah was completely seamless. She was extremely responsive via email, she gave me great suggestions for songs on my big day, and was nothing but amazing on the day. As many say, I totally blanked out during my wedding because it was so intense, emotional and went so fast. I actually couldn't even hear anything as I walked down the aisle! But every time I replay the videos from the moment I walked down with my father to her singing, I literally cry every single time - it was such a beautiful and meaningful moment for me and all my guests, literally perfection. Farrah performed as my guests arrived for the ceremony, she performed during my ceremony and then during the cocktail hour reception. She worked extremely well with all of my other vendors and my wedding planner, and I can't recommend her enough! She's so talented, but also very reliable and flexible - exactly what you would need for any big day, event, or occasion. Our wedding was at the Museum of Contemporary Art San Diego - La Jolla, partially outside looking out on the beach. Her style of singing and presence matched perfectly with our vibe. But honestly, I can see Farrah fitting in, in so many different environments and locations, she was even open to learning specific songs for my family and she has great musical and social EQ/IQ to perform music based on the audience and ambiance. It was a last minute surprise and I was frantically looking for someone with availability. Missael and I texted and spoke on the phone to work out logistics. He was responsive, professional and extremely kind and friendly. He negotiated his rate with me and we settled on the length of time and price. They were worth every dime & more! They were all dressed impeccably & looked beautiful! The mariachi consists of both men and women and it's a large group. They sing AMAZING! Several of the men in the group sang and one of the women. They strolled into the reception hall playing La Bikina and my daughter lost it! She cried and smiled, it was beautiful. Everyone was so impressed with them. They played El Rey and La Negra, Si nos Dejan, Sabor a Mi, and several other songs. Their closing song is a showcase of each instrument and it was INCREDIBLE! I cannot recommend them enough! So when it came time to find musical entertainment for our wedding, he was the first person that came to mind. Luckily he was available on the right date! We booked him to sing and play acoustic guitar, as well as to DJ later in the evening. Mike gave us a choice of a few packages, but we also negotiated with him a bit based on what our specific needs were. Before the wedding he sent us recorded demos of a couple of songs that he was going to play for us (including our first dance song) so that we could give feedback; it was very helpful to hear these songs in advance. On the day of the wedding, Mike's delivery was flawless: the music he provided during the ceremony especially was so touchingly delivered. He also took care of lots of little details such as making sure everyone giving toasts had a microphone handy. We got numerous comments afterwards about how wonderful he sounded, and how nice it was to have music layered throughout the ceremony, cocktail hour and reception.
