This tag agency always provides great service and has a very helpful staff. It's very convenient too. I would highly recommend their experienced staff. The lines move quickly because they usually have several windows open. read more

I got in and out pretty fast to get my tag for my car. I even gave my license to the lady behind the counter so she can make sure it was me. I got my tag very easily and left about a month later. I was looking at my license and realized it had been expired for a couple months. The woman behind the counter did not even check my expiration. Yes I should have checked as well, but somehow forgot. When I went in to get my license renewed I had a different lady behind the counter, and she seemed very annoyed that I was even there. She was not friendly at all did not smile and it was very grumpy. read more

Our family went into request Real IDs. It was one of the best experiences I've had. I was very satisfied with you quick and friendly service. They were respectful to my family; and they were knowledgeable of their business. Everything in the process was organized and step by step explained for me. They even had a gentleman named Billy there that added a little bit of humor to the process. He is a very nice man and made a very dark day for me to a very bright day with a smile. They even helped me with my son who has autism to be able to update his ID into a real ID. This is not an easy process usually; but it was made one by Billy. All in all, it was a great value. It was done in a proper, honest, and respectful way! Our family will do business with this company in the near future and this is where we're going to stay. Another tag agency in the same area will no longer have our business ever again. It cannot be compared. Thank you Billy! Thank you Tinker Tag Agency! read more

Always friendly, dependable service! We only go to Tinker Tags to handle our auto and ID needs. The only thing that I have a problem with is their phone handling time. They'll have you on hold for over 5 minutes without asking what your need is. read more

I needed a new license, and called ahead to ask what was required for me. The gentleman I spoke to was professional, patient and helpful. I showed up with the required documents and a lady was able to assist right away. She too was kind and made the process go very smoothly. I additionally requested a voter registration and she was able to make that happen right away as well. I appreciated the patience and kindness the employees brought, and they made the entire process an easy and overall good experience. Would recommend. read more

Got my new tag done quickly by a younger lady before I went into work one day. Everyone seemed to be super helpful and kind. I was so grateful for their professionalism and quickness! read more

I never had a problem with this tag agency until today, but today, things changed. I came in attempting to rectify an issue which was, admitted, a problem of my own doing. I was trying to obtain a duplicate vehicle title, as I had lost the original title sometime between March 2020 and July 2021. In the course of attempting to obtain the paperwork I needed, employee #1 initially was not willing to help me because she said I needed vehicle registration in order to obtain a duplicate title and that in order to obtain vehicle registration, I needed the original title. Yes, in order to obtain a duplicate title on a vehicle which had been in my possession since May 2013, which I had owned outright since January 2020, I had to produce the original, lost title. This employee repeated herself twice, too. Upon observing I was not going to relent, employee #1 enlisted the aid of employee #2, a rotund, dour, elderly woman who attempted to chastise me and make assumptions about a transaction which took place in February 2020, to which she was not privy, who made it clear that people coming into the tag agency had better not have questions or any need for guidance in registering vehicles or obtaining titles because it wasn't the staff's job to help people or answer questions, and, for the finale, leaned in to employee #1 directly in front of me and told employee #1 that she ought to "check the title" before completing the appropriate paperwork. Yes, employee #2, that dour, sour old woman was passively-aggressively insinuating in front of me (but not directly to me, of course) that I was attempting to obtain the title to my own vehicle fraudulently and illegally. I had my insurance compliance letter and insurance card copies from State Farm (a reputable insurer), along with my lien satisfaction letter from Tinker Federal Credit Union (a reputable lender), but none of that mattered; I still was up to no good in this judgmental crone's eyes. In short: If you want to be belittled for conversations or transactions which never took place, particularly by people who never witnessed them, or if you want to be told that you cannot complete a transaction by someone who obviously has not read the state's own rules regarding the transaction being undertaken, or, even better, if you're feeling good about yourself and want people who have never met you before to insinuate in front of a half-dozen employees and two or three other customers that you somehow are engaging in illegal activity, despite being in direct possession of paperwork exonerating you of said shady dealings, then this is the place for you. read more

Went to change tags/title over yesterday. Some little girl that helped out was VERY rude. Constantly interrupting me and very snotty. This little blonde should get another job if she doesn't like her current one. I asked about another vehicle and again was returned with attitude telling me I couldn't do anything with the vehicle until I changed it over, which was why I was asking. Her snarky remarks were unwelcomed. I have gone to this tag agency for at least the last 20 years and usually get great service. This little blond was not cute enough for such attitude. I hope she reads this and even better reprimanded. Though I know it won't happen, but I believe her Karma will get her. read more

I have filled out the information to renew my Husbands commercial trailer online and have yet to receive a response. When I did the renewal it stated on the form that someone would be contacting me for the card information to pay the registration. I have not received the call, I have emailed them several times with no answer and the phone number listed to all is busy, it's almost as if it doesn't work. There is no way the line can be that busy. read more

Staff are rude & unprofessional. I've been trying for several weeks to get a new DL and when I pulled up to the office this morning at 8:50am, 20 minutes after they opened, and they advised me they aren't doing anymore DL's for the day. The men were extremely rude and degrading & didn't care that I needed my ID to pick up my daughters medicine and told me to go somewhere else. Will never be returning but that doesn't seem to bother this business. Save your time and energy and don't use this place. read more

Go anywhere else. My husband and I came in together to renew our licenses. It was almost a month before they expired. I drive for work, so I didn't want any risk of not having a license. My husband and I both chose to renew for 8 years, as opposed to 4, so we wouldn't be inconvenienced again in a few short years. 3 days after renewing, we get a call letting us know that they messed up my husband's license. They only did 4 years, and it can not be fixed. One week ago his license came in the mail, but not mine. We came in the office together, why would mine be delayed a week, or more? I called them to ask, and they would not help. The woman told me to just call the number on the bottom of my temporary license. I've been on hold for an hour. When I looked for the number, I noticed it says to call if your license hasn't arrived within 30 days, but by then it will be expired! I can't afford to lose my job, because of their incompetence! read more

If you need a form notarized, go somewhere else. I had to switch a title a few months ago and they refused to notarize it. Today my husband and I tried to get a duplicate title and they wouldn't notarize his signature. We had to go to his bank and we ended up at the tag agency on Air Depot. There wasn't a long line and the employees were actually nice. We'll go to that location in the future. I've known the Newey family for over 35 years. Newey senior ate at the little diner where l waited tables as a teenager and then he owned the local car dealership and we kept in touch. He was a nice guy. I even attended church with his son and grandchildren. It's too bad they've let their customer service go. read more

No one likes the tag agency, but as far as they go this one isn't terrible. The lines usually move pretty quickly and the staff is generally nice. Bring cash or check to avoid outrageous credit / debit card transaction fees. read more

If I could give no stars I would! They pretty much suck! This is about the 10th time they've gave me a BS answer....I'll just go to the BEST tag agency I know Tri City Tag! read more

Dudley's review is spot on. This tag place is nothing but a huge hassle. They wanted me and the dealer I bought a car from to jump through all these hoops with the title saying they can't do this or that. I went straight to the next closest tag agency and everything went perfectly smooth. I don't see how this place stays in business, and there are no chairs if your waiting in line. The people are snobby and rude. It's worse than a government agency. Don't waste your time. Just drive five minutes to the next one. Trust me. read more

If you use them for title/registration of newly-purchased cars and they charge you a mail fee, check to see what is going to be mailed. 'In the past,' the registration has been a half-sheet of paper and was mailed. When I registered a new car 8/3/15, I received the NEW form (as I was informed 8/25) which is a full sheet. HOWEVER, I was still charged a mailing fee. After receiving nothing in the mail and checking a couple of times via telephone, I stopped in. Jennifer questioned whether I had received the form on 8/3 or in the mail and basically accused me of trying to cheat them. If they receive $1.50 and then do not provide any service, that can add up to a tidy sum (especially since they don't even pay postage). read more

They can and do make errors. They will not admit to any errors and they are not a people's tag agency. Very non sympathetic minded group.

Go to another tag agency. Tinker Tag Agency is equal to the old joke about the incompetent Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV). When they make a typographical error in spelling your name and then you want them to correct it and you are willing to pay, I swear they look at a sheet at their kiosk that has about five (5) standardized answers to any question that is guaranteed to not serve you as a customer and really tick-you-off. They will answer, "Oh, for a name change, you have to go to the Oklahoma Exam Station and do it there!" (Huh??? I'm not changing my name, I just want you to correct your typo in spelling my name, I'll pay you for a new license!!). " Sorry, that's just the way it is (because we don't make mistakes), so you have to go to the Oklahoma Exam Station ." Bottom line, when faced with any decision-making out of the ordinary that requires some wisdom and discernment, Tinker Tag's response is always, " Sorry, you have to go to the Oklahoma Exam Station." When I left my wife's birth certificate on the counter by mistake, and then came back to get it 10 minutes later, they wanted my wife to come in and sign for it. I told them, "I'm the guy who left it here, besides my wife has Alzheimer's and cannot sign her name!!" I then verbally gave them her name, the -date-of-birth, location, mother, and father's name and they then gave it to me. (what jerks they are!!) Incompetence and non-customer service is what they strive for on a daily basis and does Tinker Tag Agency make that happen in spades!! read more

This place sucks!! I went to register my motorcycle and they found my title paperwork had errors and that's all good. After going to the Indian dealer to have it fixed I waited another half hour in line the clerk again told me I could not register the bike due to white out being on my US Armed Forces Affidavit. ok fine but you couldn't tell me that the first time? and not have me waste my whole Saturday!! I understand I gave them a little bit of attitude. However, it is unprofessional to talk shit behind the counter to the next clerk and smile in my face saying "have a nice day." It's funny that I went to the Tags place on Sooner there was nothing wrong with any of my paperwork and they provided better customer service.... I will never go back to the tinker tags on Douglas road again.... They straight up suck!! So I hope it made your day turning me away twice when you could have done it once. read more
