5 Stars for an easy, quick process to get a few things tailored. Note: Parking is super easy behind the building and you walk right in through the back door. I brought in a jacket, pants, and two dresses for tailoring and not only was it done on time, but more importantly, they were really helpful in offering advice on the somewhat complicated jacket tailoring. I'm so glad I took their advice because it turned out really perfect (and what I originally tried to get them to do would've left me with a jacket that couldn't close fully). The pricing was reasonable and I really appreciated the service, so I'll definitely be back! Another task scratched off my list! read more

Very friendly and fast service and meticulous work. Highly recommend! She is busy, busy, busy so pickup is in a week. Plan for this.

She really is a master tailor! Work is always quality and completed in a timely manner. I won't take my things anywhere else!

Tina is super quick and always tells you the truth on what she can and can not fix. To fix a big chunk of my pants it was $15 and I have washed them multiple times and nothing has unraveled. She normally asks you for a week turn around but has done it for me in 2 days in the past! read more

Tina's is a straightforward tailorshop. Once I walked in, she told me to change into all that I needed tailored and when I would come out, she'd do a quick measurement. After everything was done she asked if I needed in a rush, if not they'll be ready in a week. $10 per set of paints. Now keep your form so she knows what you're picking up, and I give this place four stars because I didn't know the longest wait time would be a week, and they never contacted me about when they were done. When I called, no one answered and after leaving a voicemail, I never got a call back. But after a month, (yes my mistake) I came and retrieved my pants. read more

Tina's Master Tailors - In the dressing room, purpose unknown - Sewing & Alterations Near Me - Winter Park, Florida

I was very pleased with the results, pricing, and efficiency. The tailoring was perfect and I will return!

Tina is the only tailor is will go to! I went for a dress hem and needed it quick, she was very professional with me and got the job done as promised. I will definitely be back. Her pricing was also very reasonable. This store front is on a main road so parking is behind the building off Michigan. read more

A friend of mine recommended Tina's Master Tailors as a alternative to the tailor I was using. I SO glad I took their advice. I've now taken a couple of items in to have altered and each time Tina has provided excellent service. She is very precise in her fittings as she quickly pins the garment up. She is always very personable and pleasant to speak with as well. A happy attitude goes a long way! I have been VERY pleased with the quality of work and the affordable prices. You can park on the side of the building as well as in the back. Generally she offers around a 1 week turn around time however she has provided me a dress I needed in just a couple of days... with no additional charges. read more

I've made a visit to this location to have alterations made to pants, suit jackets, dress shirts and even a rip in one of my Restoration Hardware chair slipcovers... She has deconstructed and reconstructed numerous articles of clothing - I have not needed just a simple hem on multiple occasions... Without exception, Tina has done an excellent job, efficiently, quickly and without over-charging. I've recommended her to friends, family and colleagues. If you need a true tailor, give Tina a visit! read more

I have always had nothing but good work by the folks at Tina's. I drive from the Lake Nona area because I trust their work. Their prices are reasonable and they give me options when there is a question about how to handle a specific alteration. They are always fast and friendly. My wife and I have had many items from jeans to suits to shorts altered there over the years and no problems yet. read more

DOES NOT USE MEASUREMENTS! I went in to Tina's Master Tailors today with several articles of clothing that needed to be altered. When asked to be measured, I was informed "I don't do that". I said "You don't measure?" She responded "No, I don't measure". Any tailor that does not use measurements is not one that I will be using. Thanks but no thanks. read more

We have been taking clothes to Tina's for years and years. She never turns down work, and always has the clothing altered in a week. We've taken in t-shirts, dress shirts, suit jackets - everything, and it is all done quickly and she has reasonable prices. She is going to be hard to beat, and finding a good tailor is hard to do, and results in several ruined items of clothing in the process. Try Tina's for your alterations- you won't be sorry. read more

I was referred for their tailoring service because I had a custom suit made for me from a company that (used to) partner with Tina. I was very disappointed with the workmanship and the service. Tina clearly does not care about the quality of work, which is concerning for a tailor. She even told me that she sees 50 people a day so she could not remember who I was, 2 days after I had come in to see her (which was the 4th try I gave her for the same suit, my last before I decided I wouldn't be coming back here again). Tina is rude, does not accept accountability, and clearly wants to collect your money and for you to leave as soon as possible. The details of my experience are below if you're interested. The original suit was intentionally made oversized (to allow for proper alteration) and she hardly let me try it on and look in the mirror. She just kept touching me and exclaiming that it "looked so good!" before I even had a chance to look at the suit myself and make my own impression. Clearly just wanted me to get out of her store and accept the work, as the suit was very poorly constructed in its original format. I asked for a several alterations to be done for the jacket and pants. On the second time I came back, she had done well in most areas but needed some work on the sleeves and mid-section of my jacket. When I came back the third time, the sleeves were different lengths because she messed up the alteration on the left sleeve. She clearly took too much fabric off the front end of the shoulder so that there was bunching of the sleeve, leaving permanent diagonal wrinkles across the arm. She kept insisting that she had no idea how this happened because she "does everything right" and she did "the same thing for both arms". Then she tried to steam my jacket sleeve to get the wrinkling out- surprise- it didn't work. Then she measured my biceps and told me my left bicep was 1 cm larger than my right (I'm right-handed, and the size of my biceps would not account for the diagonal wrinkling pattern of the arms from her taking too much material from the front shoulder area). I came in a fourth time, 2 days later, and she said she had no idea who I was. She said that she sees 50 people per day so she can't remember anyone. She got my jacket for me, and the sleeve looked better than previously for 75% of the arm, but there was still wrinkling at the bottom. She steamed the sleeve (again) which did not alter the pattern of wrinkling. I decided I would take the suit elsewhere to be tailored. I called back, let her know that I thought she was unprofessional and rude to me, and her response was "okay". She really doesn't care about her work. read more

I had my uniform jacket altered to fit better, and was happy with that part of the job. I also had some stripes changed on the arms and that job was horrible. Even they said it was a bad job, so I really wish they had called me up and asked if I wanted to keep it before they did everything. $65 dollar and my uniform jacket is ruined. read more

Tina is located in Winter Park! Tina is very efficient and fast, but never sacrifices quality. My boyfriend and I both get our clothes altered here and she is someone we can always depend on and trust. Bridesmaid dresses, dress shirts, pants, she can do it all. She has quick turnaround time and has very affordable rates as well. Recently, I was able to get a dress hemmed in 2 days for $25. I would recommend her to anyone and I won't go anywhere else. read more

I've tried many tailors in town, Hung's for example, but this is by far my favorite. Friendly service that understands how a suit should look. Did I mention the prices here are reasonable? This is your new favorite tailor. read more

I've taken about 10 items to Tina. One got butchered - the rest were nearly flawless. So, 9/10 times it was 5-stars. But man oh man, that last 1/10th time was so bad. Ruined a really expensive dress and was extremely unapologetic about it, while at the same time admitting they did a horrible job. Not sure if I should chalk it up to a fluke or not. Still deciding if I'll return or not. The other times, the result was great, the turnaround was fast, and the prices are extremely fair. But I'd also say 100% of the time, do NOT expect Tina to be very nice. She's very short and can be quite blunt if you ask her to do something she doesn't agree with. She practically yells at you to try stuff on / take it off and get out of her way. She sometimes tries to pressure me into making clothes too tight or short and once alluded to me looking old and dumpy. So yeah....give it a shot, I guess?! Lol read more

Found Tina's through Yelp and I'm so glad I took the advise of other reviews. I bought a lace dress and had a few snags because it was on sale for my engagement photos. Took the dress to Tina's and she fixed the snags, made the dress fit to my shape and was finished in less than a week! I was so happy and couldn't believe how good the dressed looked. I highly recommend you take your clothes to Tina. Great service, great prices!! Thank you so much! ~ Alansen read more

Took her a vest at 10:30 am that I needed some emergency alterations done to for a wedding that same day at 3pm. I returned per her instructions at 2:15, and it was ready to go as promised. Thankfully! Very nice lady and great work. :) read more

Terrible workmanship. They said they would have no problem altering a jacket for me. These pictures show the results. How embarrassing! I even came in for a fitting and it still came out badly. When it was ready to pickup, I tried it on and it looked terrible. The shoulders are puckered, it draped terribly, the lining wasn't sewn on the inside and it wasn't even pressed! Which I specifically asked them if they could do and they said they absolutely would. At the final pick up she told me to have my wife pull down the lining in the back each time I stood up so it wouldn't wrinkle! What?? Lol! It was so bad I drove straight to another tailor to have them see if they could fix it. All three girls laughed at the quality of workmanship. They asked if this was done as a practice piece for a home ec class. They said they could fix it and this should never be sent out of a shop looking like this. When they finish with it I will post the results and their business name. Hopefully this won't happen to anyone else. If I could give zero stars I would. Tina, please take my advice and retire. read more

Tina is nice, however my first experience, they lost my four dresses and I had to come back. She eventually found them. And then I brought one dress home that was hemmed and it's way shorter in the back than in the front. Very annoying. My dress is basically ruined. read more

These tailors are great. I have gone there dozens of times for minor alterations to clothes. They get it right every time.

I would consider myself a pretty high end shopper. I have suits from Hugo Boss, Theory and others. I bring all my suits, shirts and pants to Tinas because she does a great job and never let's me down. She makes all my clothes fit so well I feel like a model when I wear them. I ran into a few celebrities there as well - Magic players and professional Golfers. Give her a try, you won't regret it. read more

Fabulous quick and very reasonable alterations. Recommended to me by my friends at Downeast. I will be back, having a reliable tailor is a total game changer. read more

I'm extremely picky about my clothes, and always have a very specific image in mind as to how I want certain pieces (especially dresses) to fit. Last week, I brought in 4 dresses, 2 of which needed major dress "surgery" in order to fit like I envisioned them. One dress was a tight sheath with a chiffon draping layer over the top, and Tina was able to hem the dress, remove the sleeves, and completely change the chiffon draping to flatter my shape and hide any flaws without making me look a size larger as the dress originally fit. Chiffon is not an easy fabric to work with, but the dress fits perfectly now without any damage to it, and looks like it was made specifically for me. The other dress needed to be completely disassembled to remove extra unneeded pleating and then put back together without the extra fabric. I fully expected Tina to tell me she wouldn't be able to do it, or to charge me more than the dress originally cost. Not only did Tina take this on, she even suggested we make me an additional skirt with the extra fabric from the dress, all while staying in a completely affordable price range. I'm nothing short of extremely impressed with Tina. She is a brilliant tailor, and her skill and expertise blew me away. Combined with her time efficiency and affordable pricing, I'll never go anywhere else in Orlando again! Highly recommend!! read more

She is very rude and disrespectful. She did not fix my jeans and pants waist right and when I asked her to fix them within 2-3 weeks, she said I have to pay her again. She said everyone pays her if she has to fix them second time! Twice I left message in her machine the very next day for her not to fix my pants but she still did it and said very rudely that do not do that again. She spends her time putting pins so I have to pay her. What is the point of having answering machine if she does not check the messages every day in the morning. It is all about money. She has not learnt the courtesy to treat her customers well. read more

Tina is fantastic. I brought in a bridesmaid dress from one of those online retailers and they completely botched my measurements. Getting a new dress in time would have been a nightmare and I was concerned the measurements would still be off. Tina was able to let out the dress (beautifully, might I add) in less than a week and after that was perfect, she hemmed it for me and had it ready to go in 2 days. The price was incredible and she's a master at what she does. She was realistic about what could happen but in the end, she was a miracle worker while also keeping my pocketbook in check. I wouldn't go anywhere else for alterations. Thank you, Tina! read more

I took my wedding dress to Tina's. Her work was exceptional. She altered my dress from a 14 to a 6! I couldn't believe the price. First of all, I've had tailors question why I want to get minor alterations on my clothes. Tina didn't hesitate when I showed her what I wanted. In fact she even told me not to tell her next time, just to try and she will know what I want by looking at it. She also charges great rates, usually by how long it will take her to do it. So minor stuff is cheap. read more
