Have dealt only with Mike Motors for personal and company vehicle purchases for 14 years now. In…read morethat time, we've purchased 1 Jeep Wrangler (2D) and 1 Silverado from Nels, later 2 Colorado pickups and another Silverado from Joe Hiller. Pros: (1) Together we've learned how to get me in and out of there - with a new truck! - in as little as an hour; these guys don't waste my time. (If you've ever been passed along for hours from a salesman to a sales manager to a finance manager, you know what I'm talking about.) (2) Direct, honest approach. (3) Fair prices. (4) They're located close to Gator's Cafe. :-) Cons: (1) The power steering unit went out on one of the Colorados 2 days after I bought it. Not the dealer's fault and it WAS -40F at the time. Other, smaller troubles with this same truck, but they made it right. (2) Back in 2010, a mechanic only finger tightened the oil drain plug on my wife's car, and it subsequently leaked oil. (Fortunately I noticed it in time.) Like food poisoning, events like that one are hard to forget. But all in all, a great place to do business, and a great way to support the home town. I'll be doing it all again next week; can't wait! Duane Behrens

Had car trouble on our last day of vacation. It was Friday afternoon and no one would even look at…read moreit until Saturday or Monday. I had it towed over to Mike Motors hoping they'd take pity on me and Dan took a look and said it would take until Tuesday to order the part that was needed. I asked if there was a work around (it was radiator related). He figured out a way to bypass the faulty part and after two runs to the another store for parts, he had it fixed. We made our 4 hour drive back to St. Paul without any troubles, thanks Dan. With 3 kids in tow, I was up a creek, so I was expecting to pay and arm and a leg. Dan handed me the bill and I felt like I was cheating him.. it was $36. I was expecting to pay at least $100+. So I can't recommend Mike's Motors enough. Thanks again Dan!
