I'm very upset with Tim's Towing. I had a near miss with a deer and ended up crashing into a tree. The next day, my insurance company called Tim to come pick up my car and tow it to my house. My fiance met him at the car, and Tim wouldn't even try to get under the car to hook it up. My fiance ended up having to get under the car and actually hook it up FOR him. When they got the car loaded, the damage looked far worse than we had originally thought, so Tim volunteered to take it to his yard. We agreed because we couldn't do anything with it at home. He told us that his yard was in Whiteville and that we needed to call the insurance company to let them know. So I called the insurance company, who ended up charging us an extra $272 because he took it to his yard instead of dropping it off at our house. He never said anything about us having to pay extra for it. And then the insurance company told me it was actually located in Tar Heel. It's been two days since the accident, and we drove out to go get my stuff out of my car. When we got there, he wasn't there but I called him and he said we could go on the property to get my stuff. While sorting through the stuff in my car, we discovered several things were missing, and Tim was the only person who would have had access to those items. So he lied to us, stole from us, and caused us to have to pay extra money that we should not have had to pay. Definitely do not recommend. read more
