Please, if you have to use them, at least ask for Melissa, as she seems to be the only rep who answers the phone and (unfortunately) couldn't be my rep because I'd spoken with someone else on my first phone call. I'd much rather be writing a glowing review; hopefully they will step up in their customer service because it looks like they have some great products.

Jim is talented and nice to listen to in a lounge or restaurant. I wouldn't use him again for a…read morewedding reception, however. The photographer kept the bridal party too long and Jim got 'grumpy' when he had to improvise rather than follow what was planned. His timing was off when introducing the bridal party and skipped one couple. Not so big of a deal about missing the couple but he was rude to me (mother-of-the bride) for no reason other than the late start.

All of the equipment was set up before I even made it to the rehearsal the day before. We also had a Photo Booth, they provide a book for people to sign by their pictures - it was a huge hit. He did a great job with the music to ensure people were having fun and dancing all night long. I would book Dwayne for any event hands down!

My husband and I were both graduate student with a lot on our plates at the time. Willie was very flexible, professional, reachable and genuinely invested in making sure our big day was as stress free as possible! During the reception he used our "timeline" as a guide, he did not rush us, he did a wonderful job keeping us updated and on track! Our photographer even commented on how good he was to work with! I would recommend Willie from Drop the Mic Entertainment to anyone looking to add personalized touches (we loved our personalized monogrammed name light) a stress free evening, and a full dance floor! We can not thank him enough!!

If I could put 0 stars I would. We had a beautiful wedding & when it came time to the reception,…read moreour DJ did not follow our timeline or order of events. We met in person with Beach Boyz at their office in Cuyahoga Falls as well as completed paperwork before hand. The timeline was even confirmed with Beach Boyz. After we were announced into the reception, we had planned our first dance. The DJ skipped our first dance and we had to awkwardly walk to our head table after standing in the middle of the dance floor for a minute. Approached by the DJ, he said he could not play our first dance because it was not in the contract. He then continued to argue with me in front of all the guests. Our wedding party, my husband and I were in shock. After an extended time he moved to the toasts instead. This delayed our timeline and we had to skip our sunset photos because we no longer had time for them. I couldn't believe it! The DJ then asked what our first dance song was and said he wasn't provided with that information although they were given it twice, in person and on an electronic form. Our first dance was rescheduled for after our cake cutting. When it was time for the first dance the DJ played the wrong song not once but 3 TIMES!!! He then had to stop the music and there was a lull of 10 minutes he was frantically trying to find the right song. It was embarrassing and completely unacceptable! It took our event coordinators to get the song on their phone and the right equipment to play the song. Beach Boys did not have the music or equipment to play the song which is their one job!! I was in utter shock that this could even be possible. How are you not prepared with the music for the day? How do you not review the timeline ahead of the event? I would never recommend this DJ company to anyone and all of our guests would agree. Beach Boyz was so terrible that the owner of our upscale venue said they would no longer be allowed on their premises or they would have to let go of the DJ. I will say although the DJ provided terrible services, the company also failed to provide him with the information and music he needed to perform his job. Do yourself a favor and save yourself from a nightmare on your wedding day and pick ANY other DJ!!
