I asked Dr. Sun. Right away, he agreed. He discovered that I had 4 disks that were pinching my spinal cord and I was at high risk for paralysis! He did my neck fusion surgery. I feel great! He's been seeing me for my back, as well. I trust him with my life. He has hands of gold. He is so kind and down to earth. I have such admiration and respect for him. 1 of the best doctors I've had! I went in the morning after my injury occurred. I saw Dr. Vrendenburgh. He talked kind of quickly. I was glad I had my Mom with me. I went back a month and a half later. I waited a long time. I was annoyed. Luckily, my injury had healed and I don't need any further care. The exam room I was in was when I went in for my recheck was hot, and I thought I was going to have a hot flash. I hope I never need another orthopedist. If I do, I don't know if I'll use this place again.

The staff acted as though my concerns were an inconvenience rather than a legitimate medical need. They refused to properly assist me in scheduling and offered no guidance, alternatives, or solutions. There was zero empathy, zero professionalism, and absolutely no sense of patient care. For a medical office, especially one dealing with orthopedic issues, this level of disrespect and lack of support is unacceptable. Patients dealing with chronic pain should not have to fight just to be heard or to book an appointment. I would strongly caution others before attempting to seek care here. The way patients are treated at the first point of contact says everything--and in this case, it's not good.

Once I arrived I was essentially herded like cattle, shuffled in and out. My NP had no interest in answering any questions, prescribed me 2 things, told me go to PT and was on her way (PT appt's were another 3 week wait). I needed to call the offices as I had some complications in days moving forward and was abruptly told "go to the ER" and hung up on. When I switched providers, although I signed a consent form SOS refused to send any of my imaging to the new provider, and insisted I go to any of their offices and have them burn me a copy for $5. I'm sure the doctors are capable, and not all results are typical for everyone. However I'd strongly recommend looking elsewhere if you've got an issue. The lack of professionalism and general care was abysmal.
