Since I was out of town when I started talking to them about wanting a tattoo all though email it went pretty well. As I figured out what I wanted the other artist pointed me in the direction of Aaron Roberts. Since the majority of my tattoo talk was done through email I would say it turned out great. his design was totally different then what I wanted but really liked the design it fit well and everything. My first impression on the shop was pretty good they have flash on the walls some art they painted them selfs and a few other odds and ends. The staff was super nice the area he tattooed me was super clean and hell they had free wifi you can't beat that. Since this was my first tattoo they talked me over it and really helped me understand everything like how the gun worked and what's he going to do first. From what I experienced since my tattoo took 2 and a half hours it was not bad at all he was super professional about it and the price was very reasonable as well. I would definitely go back and get another tattoo done my Aaron when I am back in Muncie.

The staff ended up advising a hoop to replace a stud in their upper helix as the original stud was causing irritation with the headphones, and for a new piercing they went with a Daith after the very helpful staff pointed out some problems that would have been caused by the industrial they came in to get. Essentially they have an over-pronounced inner "bump," or something, that would have been irritated by the bar itself when wearing their headphones. Once staff pointed it out it was obvious, but it's that kind of attention to detail that helped create a smooth and friendly experience for us. The actual piercing went smoothly, and I felt the staff were taking everyone's health and safety seriously. The vibe was nice, with what felt to me like a hint of "punk" on top of mostly "rocker rebellion" style theming and quiet music.

Nate built my tattoo so it would age well and last for years to come. I had some ideas and he coached me in the right direction of what would work and what wouldn't, as well as what he thought would work well for balance and composition. 111 is a testament to nate's absolute LOVE and pride in tattooing. He has massive collections of antique tattoo memorabilia and plenty of hand painted flash for you to get ideas from -- which is what you SHOULD do rather than stealing others' ideas from Pinterest or Instagram. I highly suggest everyone check this place out and get tattooed here. It makes me wish I went to ball state all over again so I could get more tattoos from Nate. He also offers a vegan and gluten free tattoo set up. Enjoy!!!

We had fantastic convos for the entirety of the two sessions, which helped past the time! The total time in shop was about 2 and a half hours but I'm not too sure, we were captivated by the shop in general! Personally, this shop hit everything I love about tattoos and then some! Now don't get it twisted, they do ALOT more than just American Traditional, so go check it out! The price was cheaper than most shops I've been as well, and we've been tatted in Indiana, California, and Colorado! In short, this shop blows the others out of the water!
