I booked with Tracie about 8 years ago for my granddaughter's lessons. Saw Tracie maybe 2 times, but nothing but cancelling us with outrageous lies, one after the next. I messaged the company a day prior to make an appointment and they responded saying I needed to pay ahead so I did "to hold my spot" since they are sooo busy....it was dead not a single soul not even the owner was there. I called once I arrived four times and got sent to voice mail every time, the goats were just running loose with no one watching them. I honk my car horn and still no one came out. Why tell someone they can come and send them payment information to not show up yourself. I want my money back! This was a a scam! When I approach the building there was a sign from animal control on the door! 2/28/21 The company has reached out to me for a refund however they've told me two different stories on why they we're not there when I arrived. They also said I was "intoxicated" and that I'm not remembering stuff right. She referred to me with disrespect telling me not to get my mommy involved. When I sent her my payment information she told me the app was down. Honestly just unbelievable, I don't care about my money anymore you don't talk to customers telling them that they are intoxicated and don't remember stuff correctly. Absolutely the worst experience. 0 stars. I booked a $250 goat yoga class for my sisters bachelorette party. While driving, the owner texted me rather than calling to tell me the yoga instructor was in an accident. Understanding that life happens, we finished the rest of our drive to get there and discuss options. There was no alternative instructor and the owner refused to come out to talk to the group and me. She sent her children to welcome us and take us to the goats. We walked with the kids and they gave us mats as I was texting Tracie, the owner. I asked her to come out and speak to me in person and she refused claiming she was sick. The yoga mats were covered in feces and dirt. The young children tried to put is in the actual goat pin which was filthy. She offered us less than $5 per person to force a cuddle session on us and refused a refund when we requested one as NO SERVICE WAS RENDERED. She offered to reschedule after saying she won't do a refund, and after telling her that wasn't possible and that we were all from out of state, she blocked me on her phone, ignored my facetimes to her iCloud account, stopped texting me back, ignored my Facebook messages, and blocked me on Venmo. Stay far away. This woman is a monster and exploits animals for her profit. read more

7/15/23: I did not visit Tracie Adams at Time to Shine Stables. She has now set up shop in Connelly Springs, NC, as Carolina Goat Yoga & Snuggle Sessions. I left a review there but it magically got deleted and I got blocked. That seems to be her M.O. when she makes commitments and fails to follow through with them and people question her about it. Apparently after reading many other reviews from her multiple businesses, her ethics have not improved, even though she boasts about being good and doing good. After reading some of them, I did not feel so bad about how she treated me. We were supposed to meet a few Saturdays ago at 12 pm. I turned down hiking to be there. Well, she text me and bumped it to between 2-3. When I showed up at 3 pm, she came out and asked if I was there for a "snuggle session". I said I was supposed to be here at 3, and she immediately said, oh well I meant to text you, we have to reschedule and gave me several excuses as to why. I did not feel she was being honest but I said I just drove from Morganton, "oh I'm sorry, we will have to reschedule", she said, So I drove away, wasting my time and gas and Saturday morning/afternoon as it was now past 3 pm. She sent me a text later asking if I could come the next day at 10, but then changed it to 11. She even promised me she would have coffee ready, blah blah. 30 minutes before I was to leave, she texts saying she has to take her daughter to her dad's and we would have to reschedule. When I asked if she meant to come later or what, she never replied. I tried multiple times to resolve and reschedule and all I got was ignored and she blocked me from communicating with her after I let her know how disappointing it was to plan my weekend around meeting the goats and being lied to multiple times throughout the process. I had even planned on helping her to grow her business through the many contacts I have and social groups I'm involved with. She didn't scam me out of money per se, as others have said they experienced but the lies, failure to communicate after I drove all the way there and her lack of professionalism deems worthy of mentioning. All of these negative feelings and reviews she gets could be avoided if she ONLY knew how to tell people the truth instead of lying and making up excuses. She can change her business name all she wants but unless she changes her ethics, nothing good will come out of meeting Tracie Adams. She will definitely be glad to take your money and at times, fail to deliver from what I've read about her. Then she will block you if you question her about it. read more

I had a horrible experience here. This place is a joke. I went and goat cuddled and was ripped off of my hour time frame. I was charged $50 and upon returning home "they were running a special" for 15$ a person. I messaged the owner and she claimed she was having a rough time keeping the business alive and she would give me a refund for fall time frame to come back. I messaged the owner in the fall and she blocked me because she didn't want to give me a refund. Please don't waste your money here. They are a scam. They make you pay in advance so they can take your money. She rips you off. My friend just recently went and no one showed up. Please don't give them any business. read more

DO NOT GO HERE FOR GOAT YOGA! or any service for that matter. We were informed on our way to the event that the yoga instructor had been in a fender bender and wouldn't make it to the session. We completely understood. Things happened. When we arrived we were greeted by children. Maybe 12 years or younger? We asked to speak to the owner so we could decide what to do. She refused to come out to see us. She said she was sick which, again, we can understand, but she also refused to speak with us on the phone or have a discussion about our options. She told us she wouldn't refund us and we could have a "snuggle" session with the goats instead. Since we were there mainly for the yoga we said we weren't interested and wanted a refund. We had received ZERO service at this point. We were from out of town so picking a new date wasn't possible. Honestly this was by far one of the most poorly run business I have ever encountered. They still have all of our money which no service rendered. We can't get the owner to respond to any of our messages. I would never recommend this place to anyone.
