A new market in Porto. There's another location in Lisbon but this location is new. It's themed after the markets in Spain. A bunch of eateries under one roof in the south wing of the Sao Bento train station. Very clean. You have a lot of choices of what to eat in one place; there are 14 restaurants and 2 bars. I liked that each restaurant was more spread out than the Biera Rio market
There's more seating and a few more restaurants upstairs, at the top of each staircase. I got the duck rice, arroz de pato at Rui Paula. Everyone I ran into spoke English.
There seemed to be a few chefs names highlighted i suspect they are well known chefs. Over all a cool place to find a little bit of everything. It might be a little more pricy but if you an avoid going to multiple places to find what you want it might be worth it.
Maybe go to sala de prova a wine bar with a view, located outside, you need to take an elevator there.
Be sure to keep your receipt as the code for the bathroom is on there. The bathrooms are located upstairs next to the hamburger place. read more
