This some what redeemed Big Save in my eyes, there's no guarantee that you will find anything of value to you, however you might just be there at the time they have something in that you wouldn't find anywhere else. A store where pot-luck reigns - it's stock and your presence there is the outcome of a chaotic myriad of variables that might just cough up something that you want.

It looks like it's more of an outlet store, you just grab a basket and dive in, so there's not much in the way of customer service, but staff are polite enough and really there's not the need for it as you're only there for the bargains!

I noticed they sell a lot of fair trade products so good on them and I have given them an extra star simply because of this fine, Native American headdress, which is just thirty something pounds and a complete bargain when compared to those by Bitching and Junkfood over at Urban Outfitters.

Starting with the dresses! My heart belongs to the very colourful and sleeveless long ones. In addition, Hippy Buddy also deserves some kudos for its fair trade policy, getting their raw material for small businesses families and co-operatives. When I said I like "almost" everything about it, I meant that some men t-shirts are a bit too much for my taste but generally, they sells really cool stuff there! They also sell bags, jewellery and even musical instruments. The store is in the level 3 of Oasis, and it is probably the most colourful shop on it! Impossible to miss it!

By 9am we were done and ready to go home, people arriving were being turned around as the overflow car park was filled so they were being bused from the park and ride car park way down the road. Bed smart, arrive ridiculously early. Especially if you want Gucci or Prada deals. The queues were already mental before the shops opened. Other than that, some great stores, and have your passport ready for VAT refund services available on the same day you buy all your goodies, don't wait until the airport!

I hit a few when I was there but by far the best was Max Mara! They had soooo much stock and everything was very well priced! I also love the way they have designed the mall - it's all outside, very beautiful and the bathrooms are such high quality. There is also really great food there! Although we didn't eat there this time. If you're in the area or even close enough to drive or get a train I'd highly recommend heading over to get some great bargains!

It's pleasing to see branded sports products at discounted prices and even more pleasing to see that Total Clearance Store sells official Aston Villa goods, but disappointing to see that the majority of products on sale are b-grade, damaged goods. Additionally, the store has an unappealing, unclean feel to it, with many products covered in layers of dust and the floors looking as if they haven't had a good scrub in a very, very long time. On my visit, I found the staff to be annoyingly pushy, as the owner followed me around the store attempting to pressure me into making a purchase as I browsed. Total Clearance store may be cheap, but it most certainly isn't what you'd call cheerful. Personally, I'd recommend shopping elsewhere.
