At the signing he insisted that I put 1/3 down as a deposit (this was a huge mistake). Long story short, on August 17th of 2022 he had still given nothing but excuses on why the work had not gotten underway. After I told him to either bring my money back or show up and get to work, he showed up 2 days in a row then never came back. He barely got started and then nothing. When I asked him when he was coming back said he had medical problems, surgery, procedures, hospital stay, rain, windy conditions... You get the Idea. I tried to be reasonable with him and gave him until year end of 2022 to complete the work or give me 1/2 of my deposit back which he said he would do. He insisted that he was going to finish the work over and over but he is not to be believed. He comes in offering low prices because he wants your money, then he takes your money and never shows up. Don't give him any money in advance or you'll be out your deposit and the work will never get done. Better yet, skip this business altogether and avoid the shady deals and unfulfilled commitments.
