I dropped my pug off at 8 a.m and it was a bit crazy that morning because a lot of people were dropping their pets off, even thought it was busy I received a call at 12:00 sharp and was told about the update of my pug and how well he did during the procedure. They gave me a paper slip explaining everything that was done to him and how to give him his medications. It's nice to have a peace of mind while a vet takes care of your pet, even though this place is basically a 40 minute drive from me, I am willing to make to trip so that my dog has the best care! Overall price I paid $150 for teeth cleaning and $50 for a microchip, and added cost for meds and some teeth extraction, overall I feel the price was reasonable.

Based on the breeders direct feedback they noted the puppy "will be on the small side" which we wanted as we already have two other golden's. Well our dog is now 5 months old and over 15 pounds and still growing. We spent an additional $1k to receive a smaller dog to add to our family. Mini Doodle Dogs uses other breeders which they do not advertise on their site which is also misleading. We engaged them multiple times directly as we paid a higher cost for a micro and they continue to note "refer to the contract" regardless of how they promote the sizes on the companies site. We love our new puppy but wanted to highlight the companies lack of proper communication and helping to resolve poor advertising around the type of dog they are selling. I would hope this direct review creates additional dialogue around this issue

They explained the process, what to expect and what would happen after. When our sweet girl passed, we were left in the room to say our goodbyes and given as much time as we needed and then we were given options on what to do with her remains. They were so gentle with her, and gave her all the love and respect she deserved. We were very impressed and she is now in a beautiful wooden urn in our home.

I met Abby through a friend and was in need of a dog sitter when I lived in Ogden over 5 years ago. My husband and I were planning one of our many trips and were dreading having to put our 4 (at the time) dogs, in a regular kennel. I hate the smell and I feel the dogs never get enough attention. I want my babies to get treated like I would treat them. I figured... No such thing existed. Then I was given Abby's phone number. I called her. I felt an instant connection. She invited me and my group of dogs over to get aquatinted. My babies walked into her home as if they had been there before. I felt comfortable and so did they. The following week I dropped off the group and we were on our way. Abby gave us regular reports. (We were gone almost 2 weeks) she took great care of my family. Even Star, my finicky girl who never eats while I'm away, ate while I was gone! I brought my dogs to Abby anytime I had to go out of town. I looked into several boarding places and finally left one and just cried. It was so dark and I just didn't have a good feeling leaving my baby there. I found Abby's number and explained the situation to her and she asked to meet me and Tatum. She said she would do what she could to help me. This woman completely saved us. I was able to board Tatum for about 2 months while I worked my butt off to get a new home for us. She allowed me to pick him up and spend the day with him and bring him back the same day. Abby was so good for my dog Tatum. He had severe separation anxiety and would scream if I left the house to go to the store. Being in boarding with Abby he learned that the world isn't so scary and he can be loved by many. He learned more social skills and played his heart out with other dogs. Abby always kept me updated and sent me so many photos reassuring me that he was ok. She ended up getting two Pyrenees of her own just like my Tatum. Tatum absolutely adored Abby. She is such a kind gentle soul and you could not find a better place to leave your pet than with her. We love you Abby!

The vet said "this wasn't uncommon in older dogs", and said it was just "older dog shape". His liver values on bloodwork were "a little high". He ended up passing of liver failure less than 8 weeks later. We just took our other dog to a new vet - who found multiple issues that Brookside had overlooked (severe arthritis which was written off as "older dogs get stiff", and an ear infection the new vet described as chronic, likely there for at least a year). We had trusted Brookside to care about our animals. They made it very apparent that they can't be bothered anymore.
