Not that I am looking forward to examinations, assignments or group projects.. but I do interested in some of their Culinary Courses and Wine Appreciation/Making courses. Basically you are taking a course at where all these VQA wines coming from and NC does have it owns wineries and breweries for the students to practice! I guess I have to continue to day dream of tasting wine as one of my homework/assignments. For the time being, I would love to support the students by visiting their Greenhouse, their restaurant (Benchmark), their Spa (Niagara Water Spa), their winery (Dean List's) and their Brewery (First Draft).

Most of the teachers are very knowledge , but one was a little racist in marking. You will have to work a little hard for the Coop and make sure you impress in the interview; as the connections of the job centre and employers in this area are very limited. The Campus is great and has grown big time with new program requiring new buildings such as restaurant, Greenhouse, Spa, Winery & brewery.

Surprisingly, this place didn't exist on Yelp yet. We are gonna have to change that. Get these young students Yelping lol. So I can't really speak about the University, as it was dead, nobody around, and I was driving and taking photos from my car like a creeper. But what I can say is: the photos don't do this place justice! It was absolutely gorgeous! Like something out of a fairytale book with its green trees and old brick buildings etc. It is a decent sized campus too, and I didn't even explore the entire thing! I'll be sure to add more photos as I start working there. But this place, for now anyways, in the summer, is gorgeous! I absolutely love it and it has a "charm" to it, that definitely worked on me. I'm excited to start working here. At least, during the summers anyways. My office will be in Alumni Hall, running the ROTC program. So come on by and say hi... and oh yea, join the Army. We'll take good care of you.

York University has a Markham campus. As Lizzo would say, it's about damn time! It welcomed its…read morefirst group of students in September 2024. As both an alumna and a benefactress of York University, I got updates from the university on the construction and completion, and everything else for the last few years. During the pandemic, alumni got to tune into details about this construction of the Markham campus. Even Markham Mayor Frank Scarpitti was on the call, thrilled to have this campus focus on technology and entrepreneurship, while stimulating the city's economy with more jobs in the heart of downtown Markham. Both undergraduate and master degree programs are available here. They are mainly technology and entrepreneurship programs. Markham is known for a bunch of high-tech and life sciences companies and startups. It makes sense that this campus would have programs that would make the transition to these sectors easier for graduates. I graduated with a computer science and math degree. I would have been happy with a short commute northbound if this campus existed when I was an undergrad. That's life, though. You see improvements for future students, which makes me content for change and opportunities. This building is located on the southeast corner of Enterprise and University Boulevards. I have not see anyone park on the street. There are a couple of parking lots nearby that require payment. The daily maximum is $15. It's not horrible, but it can add up, especially if you're a student. The building is modern and cheerful. I missed the open house yesterday. However, I can tell that students find it comfortable. No matter when I drive by, there are students studying or hanging out on the main floor of this building. Student residences are also in this building. I feel that there are a few more touches that need to be done to the entrance facing Enterprise Boulevard. This campus is a nice addition to Markham and its downtown area. I hope that I'll be able to check it out soon. I won't have the same connecting dropping by this location as I do at both the Keele and Glendon campuses, but I welcome getting to know it as an alumna. (439)
