The staff, on the other hand, were very friendly and cheerfully accommodating (I'm not gonna lie, I'm one of THOSE people who tend to be very specific with their ordering instructions and I've earned my fair share of eyerolls). Just as we were about to head back I spotted a sign and thought I could get a cup of coffee here. Once inside we decided to stay and have a dessert for my wife and a bowl of soup for me. I'm glad we stayed. My bowl of cream of cabbage soup was delicious. This certainly didn't come from a can or powder. The service was friendly in a comfortable sort of way. They had lots of deserts and ice-cream but it's too cold today to enjoy ice-cream. I don't know when I'll pass through this little community again but when I do I will want to stop here for breakfast or lunch.
