(Learned later on that it was their grand opening) When we went in, the staff was so nice, they even gave us recommendations on what placss to check out before leaving. The beverages tasted amazing and had extra items available to by such as coffee beans, t-shirts tea! Overall, if anyone wants to make a quick pitstop with a view and meet kind people, this is the place check out.

It shares its space with a Canadian tire gas station so in the summer time it can be really busy with cottage country folks but it's all good. They always have a lot of staff and the lines go fast!! Everyone who works here is really nice. It's the standard Starbucks fare. Fresh coffee, all the fancy stuff too. I've never had any order go wrong and everything has always tasted great! Free wifi two individual room bathrooms Oh they have a drive thru. So that's a bonus.

And we took pictures in front of it, the teeniest Whole Foods in the world, to send to our friends who are used to the gigantic real Whole Foods Market chain. (Just to be clear, this place is not related to the chain,) Then one of us want to take a look inside, and we thought, why not. This place is small, but crams an amazing variety. It's like a Whole Foods shrunk in size (like, into its cafe area) but not in variety. There are many brands and products Wholefoodies will recognize, like Quorn chicken, Bragg's apple cider vinegar, Annie's mac and cheese, Kashi cereal, and more. And some that even the real WFM stores don't always carry: a barrel of local honey, herbs and tea in bulk jars. They have a few cheeses (no big cheese case here), and a freezer of bread, meat, vegan meat and other stuff. Naturally they don't have as many choices of brands, but I can't think of much that they don't carry. So if you happen to be in this neighborhood and somehow miss your WFM, make a stop here!

And then the twice baked potato, which was essentially mashed potatoes smothered in cheese. No crispiness like twice baked potatoes usually are, and would have tasted better with some green onion and if it weren't so wet and mushy. The service was friendly and attentive. But that's not enough to make up for the crappy food.

Still no cutlery. 4th plate arrived hot and then finally 10 minutes later we got the cutlery and napkins after our food was now cold. Scrambled eggs are just a thin plain omelet that is chopped up. Had to wait 15 minutes to get our bills at the end. Will never go again.

You don't have a lot of choices, but what they offer is good. I had the vegetable omelette for breakfast and it was very well prepared. It was a country omelette that was still moist inside. The vegetables and herbs balanced the richness of the eggs and the generous amount of cheese put a smile on my face. It comes with a serving of cubed potatoes that were fried properly and that were not too greasy. The bread was toasted a bit too brown for my taste, but nothing alarming. Finally, a little note on the place. You order at the cashier before you sit. However, if it's your first time, just take a menu, sit down, and take your time. The staff is friendly and they lady who served me had a great smile and attitude. Unfortunately, there isn't a lot of breakfast place in Parry Sound. What's really invigorating is that you don't have to come to Fairways Bar & Grill because you have to. You can come because you know it'll be a good start to your day.

After the long winding drive we got to the clubhouse. Felt kinda out of place not being golfers, but the sign said "Visitors Welcome". The atmosphere was very nice, staff very polite and professional. Prices not too bad, we both had the Fairway Breakfast, price included coffee as well which was a bonus as most are priced separately. Big shoutout to the caddie who picked is up in the parking lot so we didn't have to walk up that giant hill, lovely sense of humor, which helped take the edge off the awkwardness. Made us feel very welcome, thank you!! Would definitely go back again next time we are up.

I can count on one hand the number of reviews I've done in over 6 decades...this one merited a…read morereview. Pleasant ambiance and staff, not at capacity. Ordered the Queen's Breakfast. The server advised in advance that the grill was down, so only poached or scrambled eggs (slightly disappointing as I prefer sunny side up, but survivable) so I opted for poached. 45 minutes later (not an intolerable wait depending on staffing issues) my plate arrives with the server now telling me that they ran out of potatoes (surprise!)...so no home fries (which is honestly the whole reason we go out for Sunday breakfast), but a smattering of fruit now sits in its lieu. Only 2, not the accepted minimum 3, slices of bacon. The toast is so cold the butter won't melt. The worst breakfast I've had in recent memory, and I think that I probably lost weight eating it.
