Small little cozy spot we tried while visiting my brother…read more The fruit drink I had was almost like a pina colada and this was the best part of the breakfast. I had smoked salmon with a bagel and the plate was pretty plain and unexciting. Cream cheese came in a small cup and not on the bagel so by the time you get the plate and put it on your bagel it's cold so not that great. They also do not have poached egg so that was also a let down. Was not awful but will not be going back for sure

It is next door to a beautiful church and has an awesome landscaped view of snow-topped peaks and water. We went on a sunny but snowy day early on a Saturday morning and were surprised to see it was already open! Inside it is super cosy and warm, with the chocolate boutique separate from the cafe area. We discovered that they are famous for their caramel but unfortunately, did not get a chance to try them (hopefully going back especially for this next time). As it was quite early for me, I just had a hot chocolate (which by the way, was one of the BEST hot chocs I have had) made with pure melted chocolate and topped with marshmallows. I devoured this whilst gazing out into the brightly-lit mountainous landscape - it honestly felt as if I was at a skiing lodge. The waitress was very friendly and helpful and the other customers all seemed to be having full breakfasts which looked so good! The place seems to be very popular with the locals as it began to get full whilst we were about to leave. Overall, great little find and cannot wait to be back to sample some more!!

Their resto is absolutely delicious! This was one of the most memorable meals I've had in a while. They have a daily menu that is vegetarian, vegan and GF friendly. They have sandwiches, salad bowls and a soup of the day. We ordered the gravlax bowl and vege ham sandwich. The vege ham tasted like ham paté and the gravlax bowl was one of the best dishes ice had in a while. It was healthy and umami. We also ordered coffee and tired their desserts. Their raspberry tart was packed with raspberry flavor and the lemon tart was made with tofu but you'd never know. We sat out in their lovely terrace and didn't budge for 2 hours ! Their store is filled with cosmetics and the usual health food products. What I liked the most though is that all their meats, cheeses and butter came from local farms in Estrie. What a lovely business, do stop by!

L'Eau Vive natural grocery store was the perfect solution: neat, tidy, a great selection of quality foods packed onto a relatively small footprint and a bonus! The small, upstairs restaurant is light, airy, and naturally, has a healthy menu. So plan your shopping around lunchtime!

Being in French speaking Quebec as a pescatarian or vegan without speaking the local language is not a challenge here because one or more staff members speak English and translation apps remove the barriers, however i found use of Yelp and translation apps is not something used commonly here I learned. The menu is sure to please everyone with at least something for any taste or diet/lifestyle I had an egg white veggie omelet (no dairy, meat or added oil or fat), smoked salmon with capers, red onions, a fresh fruit bowl with strawberries, banana, honeydew and cantaloupe, blueberries, grapes and watermelon, side of applesauce. My friend had egg Benedict with avocado multigrain toast with generous mixed veggies on top, served with a portion of fresh fruit and very crispy, not greasy cubed home fries. I highly recommend this establishment.
