Their doughnuts are great, and baked in house right away. This means that if you're waiting for something at opening, you may have to wait a few extra minutes. For examples, their dipped donut holes were the last thing to come out when I was there. And, their dipped doughnut holes are the way to go, if you want a box with a variety of flavours. You could eat one of their four dollar doughnuts, and if you do - have the strawberry cream - but each of them is the size of two or three doughnuts from any other place. This isn't a four dollar doughnut that leaves you feeling empty, it's a four dollar doughnut that leaves you wondering how you're possibly going to finish eating it! But, the doughnut holes, the dipped ones, they're amazing. They're the right size to eat a variety, and not feel overfull. The thing that terrifies me is they have so many savory options, too. How am I supposed to eat everything I want? I'll need to make a number of return trips. And, they're dairy free. Which is great for allergies, and lifestyle choices. Love it. Love it. Love it!

They were good and then they started making them in a factory, freezing them and shipping them to stores, and they are now terrible. I have been to a lot of specialty donut shops and it always seems like they make crazy flavours with tons of toppings to justify the super high prices. At Zehrs, you can get old school donuts at amazing old school prices! $1 a donut when you buy 6! You can also buy single donuts from the self serve case. I have tried the glazed (think Krispy Kreme original), Chocolate Eclair/Long John (yeast donut with "whipped cream" and chocolate glaze), Glazed Persian (This Thunder Bay remake has no pink icing, just a tasty cinnamon donut), Old Fashioned Cake (needs some nutmeg and a bit more moisture to be perfect), Apple Fritter (decent but San Remo still makes the best Apple Fritter) and hands down the best donut Zehr's offer: the Raspberry jelly filled donut - a super soft yeast donut filled with raspberry jelly (and I mean FILLED) and topped with powdered sugar... my only complaint is it has a lot of powdered sugar, but I just brush it off before eating, so I don't end up wearing it all! Because I don't live in Bradford, I actually order in advance and they are always happy to accommodate! The store itself is a nice store, part of the Loblaws brand, and they are the only store near me that sell PC Caramelized Onion and Balsamic Kettle Chips, which is one of hubby's faves. The regular coffee was hot and fresh, and there was a good selection of donuts and muffins. I arrived early, and I find coffee and donuts in general, taste better in the mornings, than later in the day. I also noticed the service was friendlier than other TH locations. While I could have stopped at a stand-alone location, this gave me a chance to see how much bigger the outlet is, than the last time I visited. I'll definitely return again.

Service-wise, I didn't really have any issues as my interaction with them was limited. It was easy to retrieve my order as they called out my name, went to the Pick Up area and told them my name. Through my quick observation, it does seem like there are regulars that the workers knew, so the interaction seemed friendly. Overall, the flow seemed pretty smooth and they certainly are doing their best to get the line moving as quick as possible while fulfilling the correct order.
