And what I really liked about him was his eclectic playlist. He performed everything from The Beatles to The Police to modern day hits. You could tell he was "reading the room" and customizing his song choices for the older crowd. I recently hired Arthur to provide an acoustic soundtrack for a winery event. And I'm so glad I did. My guests were raving about his music (apparently, good music & vino pair well together!). Arthur was very professional and easy to work with. He showed up on time; played the entire duration of the event; had a nice rapport with the guests; and was very reasonably priced. Long story short... Arthur plays from the heart. And I believe he is a welcome addition/compliment to any event.

People took off their armor and really got to know each other. We danced until 3 am, which feels late to this mom of two. Then in June I was at another party and I was super excited when I saw Richie the same DJ. I've been to so many parties where the DJ needs so much attention, tries to be a part of the party, when you want to make them go away. With Ritchie, you want him to join the party. He is so great at reading the room and knowing what music people want to hear and dance to. He had every song anyone asked for. I wish I had his info when I got married.

I learned a variety of Latin American rhythms from Stephen and had a lot of fun in the process. Stephen is very adept at working with people with different skill levels. for example; one day i showed up early for a lesson and heard him working with an advanced player and it was as if they were speaking a different language ,but with me he simply switched gears and we worked at a level that I could understand. He would methodically break down the complex syncopated rhythms into easy to grasp segments and then we would link them together into a seamless song. We taped each lesson so i could continue to work on the material at home...and still do. It blows me away that he can sing and teach in four languages...from flamenco,Cuban and Brazilian to rock, jazz and classical and lots in between ..i can not recommend Stephen highly enough!
