Dr. Tiller has always been very nice. He doesn't charge a vet fee, and he gives allergy injection, prescribe medication for arthritis. He has seen my dog she was born. If I could give a negative star review, then I would. I boarded my cat at Tiller while my family and I vacationed in Florida for a week. When we came to pick him up, he was YOWLING in his crate, was covered in his feces, and smelled HORRIBLE. He was TRAUMATIZED! Ok now both dogs are sick. I've been battling the bulldogs diabeties all weekend. Trying to get it back regulated from not getting his insulin for two days and him receiving steroids that diabetic dogs can't have. Having to check his sugar hourly.... not fun. He has been coughing non stop and now My cane Corso is coughing and snotty nose. I am filing a report and complaint with the Texas Board of Vetinary Medicine along with my Vet. Well I tried to go to this vet for a very sick puppy. Horrible experience! Rude, unprofessional staff that goes all the way up to the manager. Snapping and making rude comments about her own employees and certainly no better manners with customers. She would better serve at McDonald's! That will be the last time I set foot in that office. I left there and went immediately to another vet where I was taken right in and treated with friendliness and compassion for my little puppy. I had gone to Tiller Vet with my pets since 2008. Until..,,, l believe in helping businesses by referrals. Our neighborhood used this vet. My previous report was anything but nice and had a lot of reviews. Follow up not once have l received a phone call or message from the owner apologizing for his employee behavior. My 8 month old Shitzu caught Parvo and it wasn't looking too good. When I tell you they treated Polo with Welcoming arms. The stay was three days and I told them there wasn't a price I wanted to stay in and they kept me under what I asked. I took my cat to Tiller to have her put down. She was 19 years old, had lost control of her bowels and struggled to walk. The last few moments of her life were spent with the vet tech shoving her little face into the counter while she meowed and I begged her to be gentle. There is no reason for anyone to treat an elderly cat who has been declawed(I did not do that, she came that way) and can barely walk that way. Not only that, but I was not allowed even a moment with her after she passed, the same tech snatched her body up and walked out as soon as they were sure she was gone. Now for the rest of my life I have to live with that as the last moments with one of my best friends and to know her last moments were spent scared and in agony. If you care about your pet at all DO NOT GO TO TILLER!! They are heartless and mean and charge way too much, $123 for euthanasia when other places in town only charge $40. If you want your pet to be misdiagnosed, left wondering for 3 days as to what is/was wrong with your pet & to be treated horribly when you call to check on your pet & still never get an answer, Tiller is definitely the place to go. Horrible staff. They claim to not make appointments and do not care if you show up early- if they don't like you you'll have to wait until they can be bothered. Had to wait for other people who showed up after me until my dog would be seen despite being the first customer to arrive. The vet himself was gone all day and didn't return until 5. My friend was forced to wait outside in the heat with her dog because her dog barked at the other people coming in. Instead of getting her dog into a room first they cocked an attitude, gave the most disgusting glares and told her to go outside. They would rather tend to the local doodle backyard breeder first who constantly brings poorly bred puppies in and comes in late than the average customer who only goes a few times a year. meaning, all they care about is money. read more

My labrador Hazel needed to get her DHL, Parvo, Bordetella shots and heartworm check done. You don't schedule appointments and they are open to 6pm which was a huge plus for me. Dr. Ward took care of her on the day I went and was very nice. Overall this place is a no frills vet as I had been told but great service and prices were sooooo much cheaper than any vet in Shreveport. Would highly recommend and if Hazel needs anything this is where I'm going. read more

I have heard such negative things about Tiller Veterinary Clinic that I was a bit hesitant about going there. However, I have family members who go there, so I took my dog. This dog had been dropped off in front of my house two weeks ago and was suffering with a raw spot on his lower back. The receptionists were all very friendly and concerned. I saw Dr. Williams. The examination room was clean. His nurse was friendly and treated my dog with concern. The spot was from a flea infestation. Dr. Williams gave the dog a shot to stop the itching and to begin healing the spot on his back. Then he gave him a rabies shot. I also was given pills for the flea problem and NexGard for long term flea treatment. I was asked how many NexGard pills I wanted; instead of being pushed into buying more than one pill. I purchased 6 pills. I left there with a happier "new" pet and only had to pay $300.00 after my Tuesday discount. I have NO complaints!! read more

I had a Husky die from Robert Tiller's meatball surgery. Robert Tiller carried her out to our vehicle with her head in a headlock and his two female assistants carrying her by her fur on her rear end. She had no bandages and was bleeding. Robert Tiller and two assistants basically threw her in the back seat. Blood when everywhere. Robert Tiller then said , " your wife is going to be pissed because you will never get all that blood cleaned up." Robert Tiller then walked away. I filed a police report with Waskom PD and the State of Texas Board of Medial Examiners. Robert Tiller has a long list of wrong doings since 2005. I've been going to Dr. Tiller for over 20 years. I will not be returning after today. The doctors are great at this clinic but the staff has a lot to learn about customer service. Talking about personal business on the clock detracts greatly from customer service. Emily has always been professional until today when she refused to let me speak to the doctor. The other two females that work there should be fired immediately for terrible customer service. I am talking about the 300lb girl and the girl that looks like a bird. Rudest people EVER. She deserves being called a bitch considering I've spent a Mercedes worth of money over 20 years. Incidentally when I went to cornerstone veterinarian clinic there was a patient also from tillers clinic that was complaining about the customer service to the front desk receptionist. I don't even know where to begin. I've had some good experiences here and I've had some TERRIBLE. But today was the last straw. Idk why but they make you board your dog for 2 days when they spay them. But today I picked up my cat and she was wearing a bandage of course to keep her from licking the stitches. I was told not to remove it for 7-10 days unless she herself started to tear it off. I started noticing that she wasn't able to sleep. She just kept moving around like she was miserable. And then I realized how TIGHT they had the bandage. And when I looked close I could tell that there was a great deal of blood on the bandage. So I had my husband hold her and pet her to calm her as I cut it off. The bandage was DRENCHED in dried blood and green fluids. They literally put the bandage on her after surgery and never changed it in 2 days. And not only that...I asked to have my cats share a crate because they both have extreme anxiety when they are separated. They refused. And now they act like they don't even know each other, hissing and biting each other. And I can't leave out the staff. I honestly think these are the most unhappy group of females I have ever seen. When you walk in the door they don't even acknowledge you. I've stood there for 15-20 minutes before without them even welcoming me. Today when I picked up the cats, there were 2 girls not doing ANYTHING and yet neither offered to check me in. Instead, one poor girl was trying to get everyone checked in AND answering the phone at the same time. She even said to one of the girls not doing anything that she is only one woman and needs help. Well, help took another 10 minutes to find their way there. And when they did finally get of their butts and someone ask me what I'm there for, I told her to pick up my cats and she said "oh I can't do that," and just walked away. A very nice woman finally came and sent someone to get my cats. And there was a line of people waiting behind me too. None of which had been greeted. I was willing to deal with the rude staff because I liked Dr Tillers bedside manner with the animals but this bandage situation today was ridiculous. When I changed the bandage she was finally able to lie down comfortably and get some sleep. All I can think about it how that bandage had been that tight and dirty on her for days. I thought it was a fluke that my dog died there last 2 years ago but truth is, she had tore up a towel and ingested some and they just gave her some stuff for an upset tummy and the doctor felt around on her stomach and didn't feel anything foreign in her so he sent her home. I got her home and she started vomiting over and over and became very lethargic. I took her to the vet and they finally did X-rays only to see that some of the string from the towel was wrapped up around HER STOMACH! They did emergency surgery and told me there was a 50/50 chance she would survive so they suggested I board her overnight to be monitored. I called the next morning and asked how she was doing and a different woman got on the phone and said she had died. UMMMMM and you didn't think to call me? But chances are they didn't even know she had until I called and they went to check. So that day I buried a TWO YEAR OLD dog. Never again. DO NOT GO HERE!!!! !!!!! I would like to express my concerns with taken a family pet to Tillers vet in a emergency. My husband accidental hit our dog with the car. She only weighed 9 pounds and was 14 years old. We brought her to Tillers and had to wait over an hour to see the vet, because they stated it was not an emergency. On the left side of her body her skin was missing and you could see her tendon in her leg. Finally get to see the vet and he insured us that she would be ok and just needed sewed up. The next day we pick her up the bill $949. I did not care as long as my dog was ok. Later that night we have to rush her to an overnight emergency room. She was throwing up and bleeding. They took X-rays and told us she had internal bleeding,she had been crushed. They could not believe that they did surgery on her. We had to put her to sleep because there was nothing they could do and she was in so much pain. I went back to the vet on Monday and was told that Tiller notice that the dog had extreme damage to her body and noted this to his paper work. When I picked her up this was not told to me! Why do the surgery and put her threw all of this pain. I should have been called. When I called to check on her they said she was ok. They also should have noticed her not eating, drinking and bleeding. They had her over 24 hours. I will not call him Tiller Killer but I will say they are very unprofessional and do not care about your animals. If they did, my dog would have not gone through all of the pain she endured. read more

My brother's dog was recently critically ill. Since he and his family have used Dr. Tiller for years he trusted this clinic. First I would like to say I worked at a nursing facility for 20 yrs as a receptionist. Greeting grieving families during covid was everyday. When we walked in Dr. Tillers office the "girl" behind the desk was the most rude person we have met. First we were told Dr. Tiller was no longer there. We had a dying dog in our arms and all they wanted was our money first. The Dr. was a new Dr. and after examination he said all our dog needed was to be spayed. Our 14 year old dog was dying. They put her on IV's and spayed her. She died one day after we took her home. When my brother picked her up she could not walk. My brother asked for help to the car and the receptionist told him no. There is no excuse for treatment like that not to mention we as a family had to come up with over $1,000 for our dogs treatment . My dog recently passed at 17 yrs of age. My vet held my hand, the front desk lady was so supportive. These animals are our family also. My brother's name is Larry Williams. If anyone at this clinic even reads these reviews I do not know. So sad since Dr. Tiller is not there most of the time. We will never be back there and believe me this will be posted on every social media avenue I know. I do not believe that the Dr even knew what was wrong with Bella. I think we should have been referred to a Dr. with more knowledge. read more

I highly doubt that. so I tried to get an appointment to get my dog fixed, they don"t take appointments, instead they tell you to just show up, they extort two days boarding fees, which are not necessary. after my dog was there two days with no surgery and having been w/o food, I went to get her, so no service was preformed, but they basically held my dog hostage unless I paid a boarding fee, which I never asked to have my dog boarder. That person was so rude and abusive, you just cant fix stupid. I brought my baby home and found a new vet. I went the next day and the staff was so kind and sweet and my baby had surgery that day and went home that day, easy as pie, and so pleasant, I really hope Dr. Tiller has no idea HOW RUDE, UNPROFESSIONAL AND UGLY HIS staff really is, that is NOT HOW YOU MAKE A BUSINESS SUCCESSFUL. My Dallas had just gotten fixed and he was wearing a cone. They said that wouldn't be an issue, and I went on a trip trusting that they would take care of my dog. When they brought him to me, he was covered in his own piss, and the lady disappeared without letting me ask her why my dog had not been taken care of. Then, once in the car, he pooped in the back seat because he could not hold it anymore. My dog is trained and he had never done such a thing. It was an obvious sign that he had not pooped in one or two days. When we arrived to the house, he was SO desperate to eat that he even tried with the cat food that was laying on the floor (which he usually hates, and he is never crazy for food). The cone was covered in poop and piss, and he had a lot of tears on his face, so I did not notice until later on that one of those supposed "tears" was actually a SCAR that he did not have before. The cone is completely destroyed by other dog's teeth; he got attacked. I went to talk to Dr Tiller and he said that "was probably from the fence, because he was such a disobedient dog and he would not listen". So they were taking him out without a leash? They did not take him out or feed him on Memorial Day Monday? They don't care that my dog has been ABUSED? This horrible condition needs to be approached. decided to wait till late in the afternoon since they're open till 6 to try to take my dogs over since my wife passed away this past week. They are a handful to do together. but as I walked in and caught the secretary on one of her many afternoon feedings I must have been interrupting.When I did get signed in there's nobody there but me and my two dogs and he's got an office of staff that have to run all aroundwaiting on one person to get off the phone because nobody else seemed to be able to do anything else inside there when she's not giving them their full attention.I've been using Dr tiller and he's a great veterinarian and he's got some great staff but he needs to keep more of them that know what the hell is going on in the place at 3 in the afternoon instead of trying to worry about getting out the damn door so they won't have to depend on one person sitting on the phone and holds up the whole program on a personal note, sorry, but to save10 dollars isn't worth the headache anymore to drive from Shreveport to wascom. read more
