Plenty of five star ratings there, must be family and friends, was there today after believing the…read morewriteup. Wanted a gas cooker installed and male flexi hose was attached to cooker (informed them of that) needed female baynet connection, about eight feet of piping, t-piece and commpression ovals, he added he had all the parts to buy, Was quated about a hundred and eighty pounds and we all know if i accepted that it would be considerably more, dont forget vat would be added also. went to tool station, t piece with compression screws just over three pounds, compression ovals (rings) two pounds twenty for twenty compression rings, female baynet connection about £3.50 pence, an odd compression screw forty five pence each. these things can be checked out yourself on the pc or a visit to tool station, i believe i would have been charged between two hundred and fifty pounds and two hundred and seventy five for an hours work i can do myself, dont have to be gorgi registered if your not doing it as a full time job but must be competant and ive done repairs on my caravan cooker, just the same! Copper piping, just over five pounds for two metres from toolstation, pre soldered conection rings, cheaper than chips. Must be charging in excess of £150 per hour. Shop about for the best deal, wouldnt say the above was a bargain, dont be taken to the cleaners or believe all the stars you see. Read your reply and stand by my statement, A L gas fitters were more proffesional, £65 per hour plus parts, plus vat and the parts are cheap, male baynet connector £3.50, copper pipe, 3 metres, £7 from b&q, parts are cheap, your not defending your workers , your defending yourself, YOU MADE THE STATEMENT! .Rather than earn a coin you had a extended tea break. Put in some more fake reviews and you can achieve five stars again . My statement will make people think twice, your not ripping off the vat man , your ripping of customers, it was a simple job, fit a gas cooker and a straight baynet connection?, OH! ive all the parts to buy!, nonsense!. Read your reply AGAIN, regarding piping, b&q sells copper piping for £7 for 3 mtrs, toolstation sells piping for just over a fiver for 2 mtrs, regarding required length to cut is not relevant, if i want to cut 6 inches to reroute with a t-piece joint or even 4 feet the pipe cutter goes through the pipe in about forty seconds to a minute so thats a lot of waffle. Your implying it takes longer to cut a bigger piece of pipe also dont presumme i took your advice about anything regarding a&l, i didnt and the jobs done!. Then you tell me about explosions and life lost and the dangers of doing the job yourself, well some of these accidents with fires ,explosions and loss of life were the results of gorgi now gas safe doing the work, The experts with all the knowledge! If you cant handle negative reviews perhaps your in the wrong position, that is how we improve our customer care by listening to customers, no use running for a hankie by a negative review, reviews from your fake friends/family wont give you any insight how to do better. I would suggest you let things go as it shows potential customers that read the reviews are aware that you cant take critisism..I meant to say you had stated regarding price that it would be about £180 to do the job, I doubt very much that you would have come back to me and said , managed to do the job for £150, would never happen!, my first review was accurate and people reading this would believe me and thats what hurts, if i accepted the £180 price it would have been well over that and you would have said that was just an estimate.People are not fools! I read AGAIN your further comment, spite? anger? storming out of the office? more untruths! I simply walked out of the office one step at a time. You wish to imply that i am an out of control customer. Woe betide those who would dare to add a negative review. When you retire in the evening i wonder how many people read about your reaction to a negative review and went elsewhere. Your competion will be happy, Well done! 3

Although we looked at other possible places to buy a carpet, we chose this place because it's near…read moreto where we live and it seemed to have a lot of choice. We were very impressed by the excellent and friendly service we received there. Kevin couldn't have been more courteous or helpful and gave us as long as we wanted to choose wooden flooring and a stair/landing carpet. It did take quite a while because there really is an enormous choice of quality and durability, colour and price. We visited the shop two or three times in all, mostly seeing Bob on those other occasions. He was charming and humorous and, like Kevin, really knew the floor coverings on sale there inside out and was extremely helpful. We now have our beautiful stair carpet and wooden floor and are extremely pleased with both. We removed the old floor coverings ourselves but left the spiky tack strips in place around the edges to grip the carpet on the stairs and landing. Our only gripe is that they were obviously not the right tack strips for the carpet we chose because some of the sharp pins have come through the carpet in places. We rang the shop at once and someone came over and knocked them flat, out of sight, into the carpet there is apparently, no other way to deal with the problem without taking the carpet up again and that would be difficult on the stairs, especially. Since then we have found one or two more sharp pins at the edges and hammered them flat ourselves. I just wish the man who laid the carpet in the first place had told us that we needed different tack strips but nothing was said at the time. Apart from that, we are very happy with everything and will go there again when we need new flooring. We recommended the shop to our neighbours and they now have their new carpet too!
