99 ranch market is one of those staple Asian grocery stores that you need to have in your back…read morepocket at all times. The parking lot was packed, but still had room for more cars. Inside the shelves looked stocked and well maintained. The staff was running around refilling and restocking at the time we visited. Always a good sign. This was my first time stopping by and I did notice. They had a roasted duck hanging in the corner. If I wasn't in a rush, I totally would have gotten myself a little treat. Normally I stop at H Mart or Zion Mart, but this was a fun treat and side quest with friends! Bonus were my dried fruits snacks that I absolutely love. I can't wait to go back and get more. When I tell you that these things are addicting, I really truly mean it as someone who grew up eating these. There were a few things missing that I was looking for on the selection seemed smaller than what I was hoping for. The veggie section seemed smaller, but if you were looking for Durian, they did have that. Prices were reasonable on the things they did have however. Inside it was definitely a smaller grocery than some of the other others. I'll be back for my snacks maybe not so much for the fruits and veggies.

I was hoping to find some pre made juices and lunch boxes but, instead I found a little food court... There was Philippino food, Korean and Chinese food... I really wanted to get some cold sesame noodles and Tea eggs. They usually have it at the one in Eastvale so looks like every location DIFFERS... I was allay hoping to find some UBE or purple potatoes. They help lower blood pressure fast! PRO TIP: If you want to lower your blood pressure instantly try having bananas and purple potatoes or Ube for dinner. Not with your dinner but, only these 2 items for dinner. Stay hydrated! Then, check out the new lower number The next morning... AMBIANCE: 9/10 It was pretty cold throughout the entire market. It did look really clean and organized though... Overall, it was a nice and quiet market to walk at. It was also not crowded... YOUR HOME FOR FRESH ASIAN GROCERIES!!!!! RANCH 99!!!!

You can't miss him!…read more It's the first stand at the Saturday Ferry Farmers Market in San Francisco by Gott's Roadside. Cesar is 'him' as the longtime seller of a variety of citrus fruits, avocados, and passion fruits locally grown... well, Riverside is in California. This grower sells Valencia oranges, a daisy and golden nugget mandarins, oro blanco grapefruits, and pomelos, which are my normal purchases here. It is difficult to shop at farmers' market these days as the days of trying samples before buying are gone. So are the options of picking your own fruits and vegetables. He still allows me to bag my own mandarins and oro blancos since he knows that I will buy whatever I touch. A good indicator of a vendors' produce quality is the amount of wholesale purchases that he or she makes. The stacks of boxes that are curbside are usually stacked up high on Saturdays as resellers and restaurants come to pick up their orders. He is the only stand that sells fresh, locally grown passion fruits. He does accept credit cards too in case you are cash light. One of my must stops especially during mandarins season.

And Vince himself is an utter delight, not to mention so dedicated to sharing his bounty with us up here in Northern Calif, that he even showed up at our Farmers Market in the middle of an atmospheric river downpour! To paraphrase Herodotus, "Neither rain, nor snow, nor sleet, nor hail shall keep Vince from his appointed rounds!" Proof below - Vince was the *only* vender sho showed up in the storm!
