You know exactly what this place is going to be like as soon as you see the name and you see that it is a 'curry and kebab house'. To paraphrase, it does exactly what it says on the sign. It is a haunt for late night revellers and students after a few pints who want to eat a nice, big kebab and chips on the way home. I have recently cut out the kebabs but in my day I woke up a number of times with a half eaten kebab by my bed and wondered what was happening to my life.
In here the staff are friendly and will treat you like a regular if you are in often enough, like most kebab shops. The kebabs and curries are nice enough, just not world beating. For me, the perfect kebab is from Piccola in Bangor but this place certainly isn't the worst I have every had. read more
