So after I talked to the person I went in to talk to I left! I will never go back in that bar again! It is sad because I have lived in Louisville for 15 yrs and the one time I walk in that bar I'm greeted by a bartender with a negative attitude! It took me yrs to even want to go there but I guess I wasn't missing anything! But still disappointing! I heard bad things about the bar but didn't believe it because I love the town of Louisville and like to support local businesses but it is what it is! So sad though! This makes me even more glad my bar years are over!

We've already been back during regular business hours and will definitely be going again! I highly recommend the Garlic Smash Burger with sweet potato waffle fries. SO good. Next on my list is the Mother Clucker because I watched a server carry one past our table and shamelessly stared at someone else's food for entirely too long. Every time we've been in, the servers have been friendly, attentive, and genuinely sweet. The only thing I'd love to see is a few dessert options because apparently I need something sweet after consuming an entire burger and fries like I didn't just eat enough food. He added a side salad with iceberg lettuce, cucumber slices, and cheese sprinkle. I had a Denis the Menace, aka patty melt on Texas toast with onion rings. Texas toast is a lot of bread when I prefer rye with this sandwich, but it was still very good. The onion rings were exceptional, crispy and not extruded. Both of us needed to-go boxes. With great food and events like trivia nights and dog rescue days, it's worth the trip to Springfield.
