We had them in a shared room with an indoor/outdoor set up. Boomer loved being outside and was happy to "talk" with the other dogs in the other kennels-Rocco not so much. Lori noticed he seemed uncomfortable and unhappy and cared enough to move Rocco into his own room inside where he became very happy. She also took the time to prpepare their dog food the way they like it. Both dogs were happy and healthy when we picked them up. The place is nothing fancy, but the cost is reasonable. It's a great, caring place and the indoor/outdoor kennels are great for dogs who like the freedom to go outside whenever they want to. We will leave our dogs in Lori's care again the next time we go out of town.

We have used this facility a couple of times. Twice for our cat, and once for our dog. The…read morecages/kennels are always clean. Our cat enjoys the climbing tree and sunny window in the cat area. While the dog (who is a large, outside-only animal) had no problem with the outdoor kennel she was kept in. When we called to let her know we were coming to pick up our animals, she was kind enough to inform us of a couple of things that we needed to be aware of... For one thing, our dog, of all times, went in heat. Also, since our dog is used to sleeping on dirt or grass, she was favoring her left hip (probably because she was sleeping on the concrete.) We got her home, and, after a few minutes, she was running around like normal. That was our fault for not remembering to bring her doggie pillow to sleep on. It was also our choice to provide cat and dog food for our pets. We wanted to make their transition/stay as easy as possible. There was no problem with us doing this, and they were fed as we directed. We will certainly use this facility if we ever have to board our pets again!

Called my husband and said the dogs had to be picked up no later than 2:30 so I had to leave work early and pick them up. Arrived right at 2:30 and They were helpful getting the dogs to the car as they needed to leave. When I got home and got a good looking ok at the dogs I was shocked at how poor the groomer had done. My poodle is the worst of the two. Hair uneven on his head and tail. Ears cropped like a pageboy. His feet had not been done properly, the hair left long. The hair on his legs uneven. He is 9 years old and gets groomed every 3 months. By far the worst job I have ever seen. My schnauzer was better but, again, in the 8 years I've had him, the poorest job yet. The dogs had not been bathed. It's unfortunate as I like supporting community businesses. Of course will not be back and would not recommend for anyone else.
