On the drive home I mentioned it to my boyfriend, who said they likely weren't real. I called the store back and again was assured by a staff member that they were made from real psychoactive mushrooms. After looking into it further (including confirming Oregon law), I learned that real psilocybin mushrooms cannot legally be sold retail in Oregon, and the product label itself does not list psilocybin or any mushroom species. I returned to the store and requested a refund, explaining that I purchased the product based on incorrect information. The refund was refused. I also reached out to management and never received a response. This product was $35. I'm disappointed, not because of the product itself, but because it was sold to me under inaccurate information and the store would not make it right.
