Restrooms were clean, it's right next to a transport stop and there is simple food and beverage and souvenir offerings. It's not going to be a top zoo in the world, but 2 hours here would be an enjoyable and affordable stop for any visitor to Frankfurt.

Lots of trees/shade and a variety of local and exotic plants. For me though, this zoo was missing something very important: Animals! Never been to a zoo in which so many exhibits were missing their animals. Even so, the kids still had a good time.
