We are there in a rather cold October day and I must say that this is an awesome place…read more The park around the castle of Fürst Pückler-Muskau is really huge, and you won't find a tree that has been planted withour careful consideration. This whole park-landscape however must be seen as a whole with the kind of life the Fürst Pückler-Muskau has lived. As I understood, he spend several years abroad, visiting places and gathering impressions that he would try to improve later on the land he bought next to the village of Muskau, at the border with Poland. His fortune was spent in order to create this magnificent placeand over the years, I can say he did a superbe job! The castle has been renovated in the last years and an exhibition on the Fürst's life was opened this september. It sure is worth a visit!
