I don't even know what kind of meat I got, but it was game-y and in some kind of cranberry sauce with whipped cream, served with those tasty fluffy czech dumplings. Standouts include the patio dining, the cat that lives there, and the time I asked, "Haben Sie Bier zum mitnehmen?" Having just moved to Berlin 2 months ago and temporarily staying in Karlshorst, I ventured out for…read moremy first restaurant meal here and it was so good...I had the schnitzel with pfifferlinge and those perfect potatoes...I was hooked. I came weekly after that, not just for the amazing food, but for the wonderful, friendly service as well. This became my home away from home away from home and I'm a bit sad leaving the neighborhood now, though I would be happy to make the trip out here for the wonderful schnitzel, perfectly crisp flammkuchen, heavenly roast duck and friendly smiles.
