I was impressed at how well stocked, clean, and well-staffed this locations was. It is definitely several steps above the Walmart that sits a few miles from my house in Los Angeles. We found what we needed, and proceeded to check out. The checkout was quick and seamless, and the cashier along with all other staff members were friendly. It was a quick stop, but a nice one at that.

But the selection at the other stores won't be as great (speaking from a US consumer point of view) There are a couple of Walmart's in Merida. (Of course its a huge city). We are staying in the city center and get a car on the weekends to head out of town. We actually like the Walmart Campestre store better even though they both have pretty much the same thing. I will say though there is a better wine selection at this one vs the Campestre store. Super clean, super organized store. They also have a subway and mcdonalds as part of the store.

I ordered at the kiosks and my order was ready in about 5 minutes or so... -I ordered a slice of pepperoni pizza and a bottle of water... for less than $3-a true Costco bargain! -The pizza was good--plenty of cheese, plenty of pepperoni, the sauce and crust were good.
