Our wedding was postponed twice (read three separate wedding dates) due to the global covid pandemic. Dustin and his staff were so easy to work with and were very reasonable. Our contract for both photography and videography was honored even though pricing was from 2019 and the wedding happened in 2022 (which I can say our catering did not honor the original contract) which we greatly appreciated! They are responsive and communicative. It took awhile to write this review because while we got the 5 minute and 1 minute video (along with the footage from the entire day) we ended up adding on the 45min video to our package months after the wedding. We waited to watch the video on our 1 year anniversary and I am so glad we did! The video perfectly captured our day, from the vows to the reception to the speeches, it was lovely. Dustin Sheffield, the owner and our lead videographer, is AMAZING!!! There is no other way to say it. We are from the Bay Area and we started planning our destination wedding at least a year in advance. We were married this past December 2018 in La Jolla, San Diego at the Martin Johnson House. After having found the perfect photographer, we were going back and forth trying to decide if we should add a videographer team as well. We spoke with the owner of our photography team from True Photography and he sent us some options of videographers to choose from. WE Love Tidal! Ryan was our videographer for our La Jolla beach wedding in early November. Our wedding got postponed suddenly on the day-of due to a false positive Covid-19 test from someone in the wedding party. We woke on our wedding day and had to cancel everything only to wake up the next day and find out our guest had received a false positive rapid test. He was healthy, but a day later our flowers, make-up, caterer, celebrant, photographer and of course Tidal had moved on to their Monday morning. 5 phone calls later everyone rallied in a moments notice and were ready to rock for our afternoon beach wedding a day late. Ryan dropped everything to be there for us that day and he did a fabulous job. We just received our video and raw footage last week and it's OUTSTANDING!
