I am a Tidal Wave Member and I have to say this has to be one of the worst Tidal waves. The water pressure IS WAY TOO HIGH. It not only broke my tail light but also caused my car logo emblem to fall off. I know it's so random and that sometimes things fall off or break because of age but I've ran my car through other car washes before and I've never had an issue. I went back a few hours later and asked to go through again but was told to pay for it again because I've been gone all day. And in a condescending tone. I had a monthly deluxe membership to the Tidal Wave car wash. The worker pushed the lesser car wash so I didn't get the drying that I pay for. I went back around to get full wash and dry to be stopped by the manager who sayed I can only go thru one time per day which is not stated in the brochure I received when I signed up. I only wanted it done right and she kept telling me everyone gets same wash yet I pay for the deluxe. I told her I wanted it done right that I paid for it to be done right. She t threatened to call police if I didn't leave .I had to drive thru the wash w.o being cleaned. She refused to wash my car and wouldn't let her workers soap my car. She not only refused service she swore at me and threatened to call the police. Buyer beware bad customer service. Canceled my membership. read more

I joined up after transplanting from California to KC, so standards are pretty high, but this place is solid. The happiest folks just cranking out business and they even loved when I traded them out my beach carwash membership sticker for theirs! With all the snow and salt this place still manages to pack in cars quick, and the vacuums, towels, and spray are always stocked. They have my two cars staying shiny. read more

I opt for a membership for the month of February and by the end of that month for my last visit. I canceled my membership. But I can't help but notice on my April budget brake down. I am still paying for a membership even though I talked to some one in person to cancel my membership. Tidal wave is still charging me behind my back.. this is disappointing. read more

My car was filthy after construction on are street left my car covered in dust. I was in desperate need of a car wash. I was out running errands and saw Tidal Wave across the street so I made it a stop on my way home. One thing in particular I like was that was the employee who helped guide your car onto the track, gave the car a pre wash bath before the car went through the track. That really helped getting all the dust and grime off my car. The one thing that made me a little apprehensive was it sounded like my car kept moving during the wash. I was worried at one point my car was going to go off the track. Luckily it was fine and my car got super clean! But I don't feel like I can give it 5 stars because I spent the wash worrying about my cars safety. read more

This location is extremely poorly managed. They are always out of towels and most of the vacuums don't have suction. Not to mention the lack of response (or even empathy) when they damage cars. The final nail in the coffin was that their car wash damaged my wheel. They promised to review the footage and contact me, but they haven't after two weeks. Judging by how well they keep the place staffed, and the instantly accusatory tone the manager used, I shouldn't be surprised. If you go through their reviews, there's multiple people who mention damage to their cars. They certainly will say that it isn't their fault, but you can tell they do not take care to avoid simple things that would cause damage to cars. For instance, when you are exiting the wash, look to the right side for the tire brush. The metal on there is extremely scraped and gouged. It's clear that this piece of machinery has malfunctioned often to damage wheels, such as the damage I received on mine. Other area car washes are better maintained and with better prices and management. Go to Charley's where your monthly unlimited washes are $10 cheaper, the management and staff are responsive, and the technology used is made to avoid any potential accidental damage to your car such as a more modern conveyor belt that doesn't press against your tires. read more

Been going for a few months now and consistently have soap left on car and in door jambs. They don't rinse well enough before drying. The dryer also only half dries the car. You must hand dry to prevent spotting. I've brought this to staff attention a few times but it doesn't get fixed. read more

Tidal Wave wrecked my car last night. The roller shoved my car off the track and into the roller equipment. It punched holes down the side of my car, popped my tire and ripped the splash shield off of my wheel well while creasing my front fender. I filled out an incident report before leaving, and when I followed up with the site manager, Cassondra, I was beyond disappointed. She was really nasty to me, yelled over me repeatedly and told me I was at fault. Then she asked for my insurance information for her machine being wrecked. When I tried to reach the corporate office, the phone lines just ring. I filed a report and am pursuing legal action. I've never experienced a company that treats customers like this and causes such damage. I cannot wait for the follow-up generic line they will write on this review. read more

I signed up for the $10 a month special. I was told I would receive an email to cancel the plan so it would not charge me the full price the following month. Of course this never happened. They charged me the full price and would not reimburse me. This has happened to several people at this location. I won't be going back. They are scammers. read more

Paid $30 for a luxury wash and they didn't even get bird poop off my front and back windshield. I asked a worker if I could go back through the wash and they were rude said blamed it on me not getting a higher package that includes a high pressure wash that gets tough grim off....I feel like if I'm paying $30+ to get a car wash it should get the bird poop and tree sap off. I have been going to Tidal wave for the past year and this is hands down the best car wash I have ever been to. The girls that prep the car and get you signed up for memberships honestly have the best customer service I think I have ever encountered. I recently went and after traveling and had bugs that I knew should take at least 3 washes to get off, the girls took their time to scrub my car in prep and it was totally clean in 1 clean! 10/10 recommend them! read more

I took my full size Ford pickup truck there on 12/23/2021. My first time there. While the body was clean, bug residue remained on my windshield and side mirrors. I was not impressed. It's not a good value because I then took my SUV next door to Diamond Wash where an excellent job was done and the inside cleaned, all for a dollar more. I have no plans to return. Car was sopping wet coming out of their "dryer". If you don't get out and dry your car yourself, you'll have white hard water spots and your car will look worse than before the wash. The wash didn't remove anything other than dust. Complete waste of time and money. I gave them a shot, but I won't be going back. read more
