Soiree's made the entire wedding planning process and the day of the wedding SO EASY. From helping…read moredecide vendors, to creating the day of schedule, to executing a perfect wedding day, Casey and her team do it all. Casey is well connected within the wedding industry in Chattanooga and did a great job of lining up vendor options. We met to talk about what I wanted and then she made her recommendations of vendors and had me meet with several to decide. She set up the meetings and attended them with me to make sure to ask all the questions that I literally had no idea to ask. She helped create the day-of schedule and coordinated with all of the vendors on specifics. On the day of the wedding, everything went off perfectly (or if something didn't, it was handled and I didn't know about it- Awesome). Casey had one of her teammates, Hannah, stay with the bridesmaids all day and she helped steam bridesmaids dresses and kept us on schedule for the first look and pictures. At the reception, Casey and her team made sure we ate and adapted the timeline to the flow of the party, as needed. All we had to do was show up, have fun, and go where Casey told us to go when it was time for first dances, cake cutting, etc. We received a ton of compliments about our wedding day and I give all the credit to Casey and her team at Soiree's. They are very good and I highly recommend them.

I was extremely unimpressed with Soirees. Throughout the planning stage, we were constantly told…read morethat we were planning a "budget" affair though we ended up at about $40K for less than 80 people. Some of the recommended vendors did a wonderful job right within the cost that I had expected, while others charged an obscene price for virtually nothing. Soirees held out on many quotes until a week or so before the wedding so that we were in a crisis for what we needed and had to take what the vendors provided at any cost. As the parents of the bride, we were made to feel superfluous to the day, almost as if we were in the way. Many details that were promised for the day of never materialized, creating some uncomfortable situations for family members and guests, leaving the hosts extremely embarrassed. Surely someone in the Chattanooga area can provide a service that is superior to "Chattanooga's premier event planning company".

Stratton Hall Venue

I visited this venue for the 2016 WishBowl for Make A Wish. Really a great event and this location…read moreprovided a comfortable setting for the event. As for the event, how about a large silent auction, very nice live auction items including trips and beach packages, Whirlpool appliances and so much more. The top prize was the Honda Accord raffle. While your watching your bids you sit back and watch the Super Bowl, but not any Super Bowl. A Peyton Manning winning Super Bowl. The Venue is a great size for large gatherings and has the ability to expand. The pictures on this sight show the potential types of events and located at the base of Lookout Mountain, so easy access up the mountain for just minutes from downtown.

There is a very special place hiding along Broad Street waiting for your discovery. Most people…read morescoot from the Interstate right up to Lookout Mountain. Don't be like "most people". Your mother brought you up to be better than that. She taught you how to be alert. She was right. She was talking about rare finds like Stratton Hall. I attended a corporate meeting last week at "The Strat". The group totaled about 70 or so. We needed a stage, tables and space for eating, mingling and group photos. The Stratton Hall Venue has all of that. It's not much to look at outside, but stay focused until you get on inside. There is a single large space with a nice looking laminate floor and blacked out ceiling. The lighting is ample and not glaring at you from above like some predator in flight. The other two rooms are complimentary to the larger but with their own ambiance. The second is a third of the size of the larger space with elegant drapery and stylish in appointments. Right next to it is a room almost equal in size that is referred to as the Chapel. It's more versatile than that. It is a totally white space with chandeliers and accompaniments that make it appear to be more of a dreamscape. The comfort rooms are decorated nicely and there is a lounge that is elegant. Of particular note are the concierge services supplied by the customer service representative. She is attentive and ready to respond to pressing issues. So you should consider Stratton Hall for your event. You'll be glad that you did.

The Barn at High Point Farms - indoor Reception

The Barn at High Point Farms

Having our wedding at The Barn at Highpoint Farms was probably one of the best decisions we made…read more First off, I love that it is a family run business with generations of experience. They take pride in their venue and the personalized, thoughtful, and unique setting they provide. Margie has been planning weddings for years and her experience was incredibly helpful for us during the planning process as she asked questions and gave suggestions on things I never would have thought of without her! The Barn at Highpoint Farms offers SO much- first, they are a flower farm as well as a wedding venue. This means that we were able to use fresh cut flowers for our bouquets, table settings, ceremony décor, and got to take pictures in flower gardens that had the same flowers used for our wedding in them. The flowers were stunning, smelled and looked fresh, adding to the ambiance. The arrangements were well thought out and better than I could have imagined. Second, they offer some housing on site! Along with the ceremony space and the barn for the reception, there are two houses and a couple's tree house on site that you can rent for additional spaces to stay. We did a premium package where both houses and the tree house were included in our weekend. GREAT DECISION! This meant that we, plus our wedding party, had somewhere to stay Friday AND Saturday night that was right on site. Everyone commented on how much they loved that they didn't have to commute back and forth from a hotel, and that they got to enjoy the peaceful scenery of the farm all weekend. Plus no one was late or had any mishaps. We loved the venue so much that we had our rehearsal dinner there Friday night plus the wedding ceremony and reception there Saturday. It was so convenient and really reduced stress having everything in one place for the entire weekend. Finally, there is so much to do and see on the farm! It feels like a magical place, and they have done an excellent job of preserving and enhancing the natural beauty of the farm. Everywhere you look there is a perfect photo opportunity, from flower gardens to old pickup trucks, to green houses and rustic barn doors. The venue has so much natural character and charm you really don't have to overdress it with décor and fluff which was a cost saver in the end. There are even horses, goats, cats, and dogs you can take pictures with offering unique photo opportunities. The two guest houses are comfy and stunningly decorated, Margie and family really have a great designer's eye, making them beautiful settings for getting ready photos as well as comfy places to stay all weekend. I could go on and on about The Barn at Highpoint Farms, but it'd be a book. Go tour the venue, you won't regret it. I highly recommend, it was the best decision we made in wedding planning.

Very accommodating! The view is stunning but Jill's ability with flowers and greenery was over the top! Everything she created (bouquets, table decor) was so very pretty. The arbor she decorated at the front of the aisle took my breath away and made a beautiful background for the pictures. Our guests loved the baby goats and the bonfire/corn hole area. It just added to the fun and enjoyment. I highly recommend this venue to anyone!l
