I highly recommend Tick Tock Locksmith. I have lived in my 1987 Eagan townhouse for 5 years and have always had problems with the locks on my 2 outside doors. I tried to replace them myself but found that the holes on the original doors don't match todays standards. I wasn't about to try to bore new holes by myself so I searched for a locksmith. The 1st one I had come out actually told me I needed to buy a new door because the material of the door could not be drilled into to bore a new hole because it would damage the door. I could tell the guy didn't really know what he was talking about. So I researched Yelp and found Tick Tock with very high reviews. Avi came out with a new technician he was training in and within an hour or so I had a good quality lock on both of my old doors. Both Avi and his trainee were very personable and polite and did an excellent job. read more

I'm glad I've called Tick Tock locksmith, I've found them here and sent a message to get an estimate, I got a response within 5 minutes. The guy showed up the same day and put a whole new high security lock system in the whole store. When I look at the estimate I made the decision to write a good review for this company. Since all the estimates I've got from other local locksmiths were way more then the price Tick Tock offered me. The guy named Ben explained to me why local companies can afford better service for way cheaper and still be profitable since they don't pay a lot for advertising and they look more for long term clients not just 'hit and run' in his words.. Anyway I'm 100% satisfied with this work and I highly recommend Tick Tock locksmith. Thank you much Ben. Sherry. read more

I've had the pleasure of using Tick Tock Locksmith's wonderful service twice now. The first time was when my son locked himself out of his car under a bridge in the pitch blackness. Avi showed up and got in the car in no time at all! The second time was just recently when I broke my key off in a commercial-type condominium door. Avi came out once again and saved the day. He got my key out and repaired the cylinder of the lock. Avi is so incredibly personable and skilled in his craft that he turns your misfortune into a very friendly and pleasant interaction. Not to mention, he gave me the best deal I could find. He is officially my Locksmith dude that I will go to whenever I find myself in a predicament with a lock. Thanks again, Avi! You're amazing! read more

Called Tick Tock after reading other reviews by satisfied customers. Was not an emergency call, but needed prompt service. After talking with Avi, we agreed to an end of day service call. Technician arrived as promised and we engaged in a through discussion of the problem and the various options to solve it. Interestingly, I actually learned a couple of things about "today's" locks. Technician departed and within 30 minutes returned with two locks that met the need. Selected one and it was quickly installed. Also, installed a rear door lock that was rekeyed so one key operates both. Just a great experience at a fair price. read more

We had a door lock that was jamming and wanted to change out the locks on both household access doors. We purchased the locks but wanted to ensure they were installed correctly. I remembered Avi from 4 years ago when we had some work done and after 30 minutes found the receipt. Avi answered the call, installed the two household access locks and rekeyed one lock so we had only one key to both doors. He also made us 2 more keys for the kids. The whole event took less than an hour...truly satisfied and will call Tick Tock in the future, Thank You! read more

When you get locked out you need help quickly and affordably--that's what I got from Tick Tock Locksmith. I was so thankful for the help I received from Avi. He was able to quickly turn around what was a really frustrating situation and gave me some pointers on things I could update in the future should I be interested in that. Now, I just need to remember not to leave my keys in a restaurant in a different state and fly home without them! But I don't think he can help me with that... read more

I had a small home safe with the keys locked inside. My original phone call was answered immediately. I was told up front that the lock would have to be destroyed. I chose the day and the window of time. I was called ahead of time and Ben came early. He was extremely professional and completed the work efficiently. He knew exactly what to do and had all the appropriate equipment to complete the job. I would HIGHLY recommend Ben to everyo read more

I locked my keys in my car while at Costco on a busy Friday afternoon. I called Tic Tock and the Dispatcher said he would have someone there in 15 mins. A gentlemen named Avi arrived within the 15 minutes and had my car open within a few seconds. Avi was very careful not to damage my car and was very professional. Hopefully this does not happen to me again but if it does I know that I would call Tick Tock. read more
