It was empty, so we got to choose the table we found most appealing. The menu has a wide variety of food including salads, soups, pasta and pizza. They also have the Menu of the day which is written on a blackboard. It includes dishes that arent listed on the 'normal' menu. They also have an extra coffee menu. I had a salad, the rucola/schafkäse salat, which was really really good. The portion is rather generous. It's not very expensive. Two persons, 2 drinks was at around 20EUR. Very fair for what they're offering. I'll definitely be back

The waiter is italian and a rather funny guy. He always greets the clients in italian and all his reactions are in italian. I like the guy and his accent in german is really sweet. The menu has a variety of pastas pizzas and a 'fleish' section. It's not exactly cheap but i wont say its expensive. A pasta dish costs between 7 and 10Eur whereas the 'fleish' dish (be it fish, chicken or meat) is at least 13 eur. They serve really good tiramissus too and a number of other italian desserts. I would say the food is more than average. Not the best italian ive had but its not half bad. I've been there 4 times (i think) for dinner and there was nothing much happening, not a lot of clients Annexed to it is the porta nova lounge which is in the basement. I would be back to porta nova but only if i am in that area, i wouldnt go out of my way to eat here.
