My friend that I met it Paris is a musician and told me bout this place. I went here on my birthday and had such a good time. The people who work here are very sweet and kind and its a nice change of atmosphere from the hustle and bustle of the center of Paris. Its a lot more laid back, people let their guard down and the crowd is full of all kinds of people, especially music lovers. The music here is so so good!! I discovered some of my new favorite bands here at this place and started bringing all my friends from school here and got them hooked on this amazing hidden gem.

A majority of the time, Paris has failed on all of these fronts. But lo and behold tucked away in some Belleville back street exists the awnser to all of my white american melancholies over missing his beloved cafe/office. Yet there is nothing American about this place - the guys who work here pump revolution roots reggae, smoke something herbal, and chill whilst the open air passes through the sunny front room. It's more reminiscent of an island cocktail hut. In the back there is ample comfortable seating and I think later on in the night they host stand up comedy. Can't vouch for the comedy because it's all in French. Closed on Mondays?
