They lost my brand new treadmill's screws and never replaced them. I called and texted them but they never replied. I do NOT recommend them.

I paid a $100 deposit, electronically signed the estimate they sent, and fully disclosed key details before booking, including that the move involved stairs and that the elevator at the destination building was out of service. These details were discussed directly with their representative (Tony) prior to the move date. Despite this, when the movers arrived, they attempted to impose additional charges on site that contradicted what had been discussed and agreed to. When I refused to approve unauthorized charges ($400), the movers left the job site without completing any work and without notifying me that they were leaving. Afterward, the company claimed the move was canceled due to "site conditions" and alleged inappropriate behavior, which was never documented at the time and only raised after I disputed the situation. They later confirmed in writing that they canceled the move and provided no services, yet still refused to refund the $100 deposit. What's most concerning is: * No written change order was provided * No formal cancellation notice was given at the time * No services were rendered * The deposit was kept despite the company canceling the job Instead of taking responsibility, the company shifted explanations multiple times and relied on technical language about estimates and policies after the fact. That was after they decided not to answer my calls and dodge me. This experience was unprofessional, disorganized, and unfair. A moving day is stressful enough, having a company show up, attempt to change the price, and then walk away without notice is unacceptable. I would not recommend this company to anyone looking for a reliable or transparent mover.

I have relocated numerous times--often entire households--and this was by far the most negative experience I've had. Before booking, I conducted extensive research on interstate movers, narrowing my options to four companies based on pricing, BBB ratings, and customer reviews. This was a straightforward move. I provided Solomon & Sons with a detailed Excel inventory listing every item of furniture (including dimensions), along with photographs and a comprehensive video walkthrough of the apartment showing drawers, cabinets, and closets open. Solomon & Sons prices moves based on estimated cubic footage (rather than weight). Their written estimate--and the contract I signed--quoted 463 cubic feet at $4.75 per cubic foot, totaling $2,199.25. After loading, they revised the volume upward by 250 cubic feet--an increase of 54%--adding $1,187.50. Despite the detailed documentation I provided, their estimate missed the mark by more than half. Additional charges followed: $241 for packing materials and labor, and a $300 "long carry" fee instead of the $75 originally estimated. The total estimate was $3,677.63. The final bill was $5,331.13--$1,653.50 higher, a 45% overrun. The contract provided for delivery within 10 days. When the driver departed Atlanta, he informed me he had another stop in northern Virginia. Delivery ultimately took nine days--for a 535-mile move. The day before delivery, the driver texted to say that, based on Google Maps, his 18-wheeler could not access my neighborhood and that my shipment would need to be transferred to a shuttle truck for an additional $375. It is unclear why this was not identified during the estimation process. I advised them I would not agree to that additional charge and would dispute it if necessary. On delivery day, after a contentious discussion with customer service and the owner, I was told that unless I paid the full $5,331.13 in cash on delivery, they would refund my prior credit card charges and place my belongings in local storage at my expense. I was required to confirm in writing that I would not dispute the charge before they would complete delivery. The move also involved two delivery stops in Baton Rouge (for which I was charged $225). I specifically asked the estimator whether they could ensure correct placement of items at each stop and was assured this was routine. I had clearly labeled every item with color-coded tags indicating the appropriate destination. Nevertheless, three furniture pieces were delivered to the wrong location. This was not a seamless or professional relocation. I would not use Solomon & Sons again, nor would I recommend them.

Little did I know what would end up transpiring. I was originally quoted about $900 for half a days work. My husband was on site for the move and he reported back to me throughout the day that the three workers were standing around and talking often, and when they got to our house, they would not unload until the credit card payment was made. I was astounded to see over $2000 charged on the credit card, my husband had to call them and they said that they had charged for the amount that they thought the total cost of the move would be, he told them that we only had them for about four hours and that this amount did not make any sense, so they initiated a refund. The original refund was only $300 less which was incorrect, so he had to call a second time to get the correct refund amount. When the movers came back to try and say that they would take the rest of our items he told him not to bother that he would find someone else to finish the job. I feel disappointed that I was led to believe that they were a great company and that this transpired.

1. Completely misleading pricing. Based on their quote I was expecting a $1500-2000 move. It came…read morein at over $5300. They advertise $179 per hour but then tack on 1.5x for anything over 8hrs and then charge an extra 25% for basically no reason for EVERYTHING except to false advertise at lower rate. Then they don't send enough guys to do the job so a 6-8 hour job turns into 14.5 hrs. 2. The truck they sent was too small as well. So on top of paying 3x for the job, it was only 85% complete. I have a 300lb armoir cabinet sitting in my kitchen and a huge table in my garage. Thanks assholes. Save the hard stuff for last. 3. If they are gonna give you an estimate, it should list the expected number of hours and material charges. These guys tacked on $1000 for tape, bubble rap and boxes. Absurd. Management should had an idea of how long the job will take and relay that to the customer. The guys doing the job weren't that bad but it shouldn't have been 14.5 hours and they shouldn't have left the heaviest items at my place. I feel the management is at fault here for trying to milk every hour they can at overtime and then tack on 25% just because. Sorry Good Greek, you're just as bad as the rest of them.
