I have been with this clinic 7 ish years, and I have had nothing but great service/ experience…read morefrom the receptionists to the vets. My dog (Great Pyr), oddly, gets excited to go there, which doesn't make a lot of sense since she generally hates people and other dogs. When we go for her annual physical & shots, she pulls to get through the doors. Everyone has always been pleasant & patient with her. Mind you, she knows she gets treats when she goes there so I'm sure that's a huge reason she likes going. When she was around 2yrs old, I had an emergency where she had to see a Vet asap. They got me in as soon as they could and everyone was great with her and me. I was scared and panicking. Thankfully, everything turned out great. She is happy & healthy to this day. I don't stick to or request a certain Vet. I see whom ever is available on the date I am able to go. The previous post is heart breaking but kind of hard for me to believe. I had to put my cat down Dec.12 2022. He was 13 and suffering from heart failure. They allowed me to stay with him the entire time. I wasn't rushed out, nothing. I left when I was ready and the Vet was incredible. Even a few weeks later, I received a sympathy card that had my boys paw prints & nose print. Can't tell you how much that meant. For me, I wouldn't bring my animals anywhere else. I am so grateful to everyone there. As always, I will be back there in a few months for my dogs check up :)

Since they deleted my post I will repost it again. I am…read moreextremely appalled with the service provided by Northwest veterinary clinic in the past and today. Today an elderly lady had to bring her dog in to be put down. This clinic refused to let her in to a room to allow her to spend last moments with her dog and have also refused to let her go to be with her dog to be put down. This also happened to me when I had to euthanize my dog. I had to leave my dog at the main door to be taken. Regardless of Covid or not it is unacceptable. Whatever your poor excuses are: lack of space, not a client. No excuse is acceptable. Sorry. You have no problem asking for the money right away for proving the service. As I stated in a letter before to your clinic, provide PPE if required, allow only one family member in the room, something. Other veterinary clinics have during Covid and now allow people to be with their pets. As a pet owner it is a responsibility to be there till the bitter end. Not to place him on a hook to be picked up or taken by a stranger and brought in like a death row inmate. We have to live with these last moment of leaving them with strangers and not to be seen again and the look of abandonment. Animals are traumatized enough just going to the vet, never mind being left to be put to it's death. Northwestern staff do not have to live with the regret and constant replay that he took his last breath without his family with them, comforting him as well as having that final closure for ourselves as pet owners. Also, living with the fact that your pet couldn't understand why he was dropped off and left alone with strangers to die. At a most traumatic time for both a dog and it's owners this clinic lacks professionalism and compassion. I would have hoped your clinic over the last fe years would have taken the time to truly understand this pain and loss that not only a family is going through but I see that you haven't. It's horrible and truly unfair. Once again thank you all for robbing us all of this closure and time to be with our beloved pets in their final moments. You guys truly make me sick! I am so outraged as are many others who witnessed this today.
