We recently hired Megna Painting to paint the exterior of our house. Before hiring Megna we met…read morewith six other companies who met with us and provided quotes. After reviewing the quotes and meeting with each company, it was very clear that Megna was the best choice. First, Mike Megna met with us personally and provided some excellent suggestions to bring value to the project without pushing the cost upward. Second, Megna clearly outlined the scope of work, what is included and what is not. They included more scope than the other companies and their quote was one of the two lowest in cost. There was no aggressive sales push, just a request to let them know if we have any questions. As the project start date approached Mike Megna met with us personally to provide guidance in color and materials selections. He gently challenged us on some color choices which, in retrospect, made the project so much better than it would have been without his input. He also provided us a clear understanding of what to expect during the project, and started the project as scheduled/promised. Megna's crew was exceptional! They were super friendly and did an excellent job of prepping for the actual painting. They masked areas not receiving paint (stone facace/windows/etc) very well and made extra efforts to protect our other property in the vicinity. Mike Megna stopped by often to check on progress and to make sure we were happy with how things were going. The project turned out beautifully! The painters did excellent work that exceeded our expectations. They left the site spotless and were very focused on their attention to detail. We highly recommend Megna Painting and, based on our fantastic experience, have already committed to hiring them to do some interior painting for us. It is so refreshing to see a company that: is very competitive in pricing, provides such a high level of quality in their work, exceeds what is expected by the customer, provides a high level of personal involvement by the owner of the company, and does not "nickle and dime" the customer with change orders and scope creep. On top of all of this, Mike Megna is a great person and a delight to work with. Extremely happy with our choice!

They were always on time and the crew was very friendly and respectful of my house and my pets. I was having problems with another one of the contractors and Mike went out of his way to accommodate us with unexpected timing issues and in fact spent some time trying to trying to help me fix an issue that one of the other contractors had created. We couldn't be happier with the end result and they were a pleasure to work with. I would also highly recommend the color consult. I like bold colors, but was hesitant to use the ones I really wanted, but the colors she help me pick are just perfect

When the two painters came, they started putting the undercoat on. I called Michael right away and asked what they were doing because (as per contract) they were supposed to be sanding. He said, " it would be fine". As you can see from the pictures, it is not. It chipped immediately. When asked, Michael said I must be running carts into it. I have no idea what that means, and that my dogs must be scratching at them. I do not have dogs. Either way, the paint job that "will last a lifetime" (his words) lasted 2 days. There was wallpaper to be taken off. There are spots where that was left completely. when I mentioned it to Michael on his walk-through, he said, " I never would have noticed that." as if I should not have even bothered him with it. The painters didn't bring in drop cloths, one saying, " they're in the back of the truck. I don't want to dig them out." consequently he dripped paint on my tile, on my floors, on my carpet, on the woodwork. Michael's comments, " that happens." The wall in the kitchen didn't look great on the final walk-through. I asked Michael about it. He said it would look fine when it dried. It did not. when it started peeling I noticed it was only one coat of paint. Yes, Michael said that he would have his men come back, but why would I want them back in my home? They had already damaged my property. One was constantly trying to run game on me. the second pointed out things of mine that weren't up to his standard. The second day he walked in the front door without knocking or letting me know he was here. Started walking around my home. Both of them talked s when they thought I wasn't around. This company is garbage. From the work they do to the humans they are
