This review is based on our experience after living in our Three Stone (Commodore) modular home for a little over two full years. We feel it was one of the worst decisions we have made in our lives and would never purchase a modular home if we had the ability to go back in time. We are happy for those who have had a good experience, but we were disappointed by the lack of finished detail, the very basic mistakes made by both Commodore Homes and the Three Stone construction crew, and the constant push back from customer service on the issues we brought to their attention. They were happy to repair small things, or things they had to accept as an issue that their poor work caused, but if it took more than one trip, it was a constant battle to get things done. This is not the dream home we were hoping for as our final retirement home. After just over two years in our home, we are experiencing some significant settling of the home and still seeing issues that were never corrected and/or corrected, yet the problem appeared, again. If you purchase a home - keep meticulous records, email is best because you have a record of discussions, take LOTS of pictures, and ask them for a list of everything you are responsible for after the purchase of the home before you buy. And keep in mind that you are responsible for the foundation of your home and honestly, when it is all said and done, we don't think we would have spent much more for an on-site built home and know we would have had better quality materials by going with a contractor that is highly recommended and with you every step of the way. Note that they no longer have a Facebook page. In *our opinion* and our opinion, only, it is because they were getting so many bad reviews, they took it down. They can't do this with Google and other review sites, so do your homework. Please read the whole review, but if you don't have the time or inclination a summary is just below. We are also happy to provide pictures and documentation of our experience if we are able on the Google Review site. * Be careful if you want to change the floor plan because you may create real problems with the flow of your floor plan that cannot be changed; you do sign off on the project, but you would hope that the 'experts' at TSH and Commodore would catch problem areas and help correct them. But they don't. * Have local, respected crews build out your porches, gutters, etc. because you will know the quality you are hiring, and based on our experience, local contractors will work with you to make some changes in the design if they see there is an issue (the contractor on the garage we had built on to our TSH made changes as we went if he noticed an issue or thought we would like something a little different than the plan) * Be prepared to be told that the finished interior of the model homes look better than the product you get in the end (we said at one point that we just wanted our *new* home to look as nice on the ones on their lots, and were told that TSH crews go in daily to work on their homes so they always look good - we have this response in an email message) * TSH says more home, less money; part of that is the quality of items installed (we spent $6200 to change out our ductwork this year and you can see the whole explanation below); our insulated windows fog up and get condensation and when I looked up the window company, it says they will do this. We purchased insulated windows for our previous home, and they did not do this because they were better quality windows. Our shower spray nozzle has quit a third time (TSH has replaced it twice when they were working on our home) - our plumber says we just need to go with a different set up because the one installed continues to malfunction and you cannot find matching parts because it is not a name brand item * If you live quite a distance from TSH, you will be waiting long periods for warranty work * We have photos and email messages to document all that we have written here. * We cannot begin to tell you how many times we were asked to provide information over and over on the same requests (we have MANY email messages to document this) Details: Go to our Google Review to see the details read more

Everything was bad with my purchase. Big delay on delivery, damage to house not disclosed Furnace and AC unit damaged and under pinning bent. We had to hire a company to figure it out. The requirements for foundation and wiring that were given us not even what was put in. House moving on their foundation making big cracks in ceiling and walls, windows cracked. Some days doors and windows changes so not operating properly. Buried trash around foundation and allowing some to blow around. The marriage line in the house was filled with broken pieces of sheet rock. I have had 5 people thinking about buying from them. Look over my purchase chang their minds and went with a different dealer. It's not the house but the misinformation they give out, making it price much higher to have foundation outsource d. Three Stone homes new ad on Kolr10 is so funny, they say " we want to treat you like we see you", here's how they see every customer as dollar signs and will lie the whole way all the while they are smiling to your face, "more home less money" aka cheap slapped together not good quality at all, and the Owner is the one that teacher the workers how to be shady and cheat on everything from materials/labor, and If you live in their park it's even worse. File a Complaint to the Attorney General Office, once their office gets enough compliants on this shady company they might get shut down. read more

If you are looking for a home, I would avoid 3 Stone home like the plague! The lies and incompetence from not just the salesman, but right on down to their phony "customer sales rep" are astonishing! I have never been lied to more, promised more with no follow through, or treated more poorly by any vendor I have ever worked with. The complete lack of communication, and not being able to pick the outside color of the home we chose was absolutely ridiculous. All I can say is; someone is allowing the patients to run the asylum and no one is a professional. So, I have some advice for you. We purchased a home from Three Stone Homes in June 2021, at the Silver Bell location. I was told a great majority of things that were downright lies when we were sold on the property like that all the appliances were brand new, but the fridge stopped working after 2 days. Another being that all the windows would be replaced (to which only a handful were half replaced). The person who was sent to install the windows was highly unprofessional, and when I asked him about a particular window that the side was broken, he flat out told me not to worry about it. Because "thats not really a big deal". Excuse me, but my new home IS a big deal. In addition, the flooring that was placed in the home was coming up within 2 weeks of us moving in. The parquet flooring was nailed in with these little slivers of metal, that were also working their way out of the floor and sticking up. We had a 9 month old at the time who was crawling and he got cuts on his knees from these metal pieces. I spoke with the office, and they sent out their 'head of remodel' his name was Steve. As well as the office manager at Silver Bell (no longer employed with them). They came and looked at it, and left and I never heard anything else. Finally, we literally have doors falling off the hinges. And the master bathtub was not even plumbed under the house, but left open. Which started to cause erosion under the house where it was pouring out underneath the home and caused a massive brown recluse spider infestation because they were coming in through the bathtub drain. To which I had to pay hundreds of dollars for an exterminator to come several times before we found out they didn't do their job. We were told that it was sealed underneath, and when we were fixing the plumbing issues, we found out insulation under the house was torn down all over where they 'worked' and it wasn't replaced. We were also told that the A/C was new. It is original to the home and 30 years old. The furnace we had to replace because it also did not work once we began to use it after the temperature dropped. It's very frustrating to know you've been absolutely lied to about literally 90% of what was told during the showing. I appreciate honesty, and I would certainly not give Three Stone Homes that commendation. Please shop elsewhere. read more

You will have to excuse me if this is long winded but it's the first review I have ever written. I decided I was going to move to Eureka Springs Arkansas as I promised my wife. There was no doubt that it was going to be a Modular home. A Modular is the best home you can build as it is stronger than a built on site or "stick built" home. So I started calling around. I was referred to Three Stone Homes by a manufacturers rep. I was in touch with David. He really impressed me. His knowledge and honesty were the two things that impressed me the most. David actually suggested that although they sold the brand I was originally looking at that I look at Commodore Homes as they would better suit my needs. So Nancy and I landed on a home we really liked. Keep in mind that we didn't even have property in Eureka Springs yet. But over the course of a year we finally got 5 acres and sat down with David and ordered the home. Three Stone allowed me to do all of the site prep. I didn't mention that in Minnesota, I had an excavating business and did site work and actually set approx. 10 Modular Homes. That's what sold me/us on a Modular to begin with. Anyway, David actually price protected the home as there was an increase while they were waiting for me to have everything ready for the home to be delivered. When it did come, The set crew from Three Stone did an absolutely perfect job of mating the modules. People cannot believe it came in two modules. The fit and finish is absolutely beyond belief. Now keep in mind that although Commodore builds a very high quality home, its on the builder to make sure everything goes well. Three Stone did as good of job as I would have done. Of course as with any new construction, there were a few minor issues that needed to be addressed. For instance, the plumbing had to be flushed because there were particles in all of the faucets. At the time, Three Stone couldn't flush them because the well wasn't fully installed. Within 3 days of us moving in, their crew came and immediately addressed any concerns we had. Allison Hopkins is an employee from Three Stone who acts as a liaison with new owners. She was so aggressive ( in a good way) in making sure that everything was perfect with our new home. Like David, she did everything that she promised. And continued to follow up with Nancy and I. All in all, I cannot think of one disappointment on our end in any of our dealings with Three Stone Homes. It was a great experience. At the end of the day, we bought the home, put in the well, poured the footing and foundation, installed the meter for electrical, and we are in this beautiful 1650 sq ft home for under 170,000.00. It was 40,000.00 less than any bids we received for conventional construction. And we got the added value of a tighter, stronger home that we were able to customize. We got upscale appliances, had some interior doors increased to 36 inches, have really cool sliding barn doors going into the pantry. The pantry and walkin closets are as big as a few small bedrooms I have seen!! We opted for the 100% waterproof engineered flooring (we have 3 fur babies) and upscale carpeting in the bedrooms. It's a very open floor plan too. I was concerned about being claustrophobic as we bought a home almost one half the size as the one we had in Minnesota. The very open floorplan did the job. We are very comfortable in our home. Their commercials are really truthful too!! "More Home, Less Money" BTW No one asked me to write this. Then we found Three Stone Homes and immediately discovered a number of models that would work for us. Our first impressions were the staff was friendly and spent all the time necessary with us to answer all our questions. David, our salesman, worked closely with us and provided us with excellent customer service helping us with scheduling, necessary infrastructure and the documents needed to purchase our home. We have been in our new home for over six months now and are very happy with our purchase from Three Stone Homes. In contacting Three Stone Homes, I worked with Mr. Ron Garcia. While asking him to go over options with me for the home I wanted, he completely ignored me and continued to offer to sell me instead one of the homes on their lot, insisting I look at something "more in my price range". This happened a few times in a row, after which he proceeded to tell me that freight for my home would cost $10,000!!! I have quotes from other home retailers that are farther away from my location that only charge $2,000 for freight. When I told him I felt he was over charging me for the freight and that I felt he was ignoring me when I asked to go over options on the home I wanted, he lashed out at me and said my questions about the home were making his job hard and continued to say some really rude and hurtful things to me that were personal toward myself and my fiancé. I only ever asked for a list of options that could be up or downgraded on the home so we could get to a better price range on the home we wanted. I have had zero issues doing this same thing with other home retailers. At this point, I have blocked him and Three Stone Homes from my email address. That is not a professional way to conduct business or treat a customer.
