George is fantastic! Hell all the staff are.... yep. FANTASTIC!
The coffee is fantastic!
The Lasagna is fantastic!
Three Rosettas has been about for a while, and I am ashamed (blushingly, devastatingly, tourettes-tick inducing shame) SHAME! SHAMEANDY! to say that I have only just discovered this spacious, well lit, well appointed, jovial and SHAMEANDY! fun, crisp cafe. (SHAMEANDY!)
(apologies to any tourettes sufferers I shouldn't make light)
The coffee is lovingly prepared, and expertly delivered. I've had the lasagna here, and it is a-w-e-s-o-m-e. Simple, elegant, and oh so tasty, with pork and veal (tastes that way!) slathered in between layers of béchamel, pasta sheets, and the most heavenly Grana Padano I've had in quite a while - a generous serving of cheese too. I guess you could say this lasagna has the perfect, extravagant cheese to filling ratio. YUM.
The staff are awesome, and the experience itself lends me to suggest that in all of Drummoyne there is not a more cliqued, switched on bunch of employees in a business. They bat off each other, they banter with the customers, they try to provide recommendations (they failed me on this account but whats to forgive?) Seriously, you go here just to be smiled at, to be treated like royalty, and because you know you're going to get trouble free service culminating in delicious heavenly coffee and food.
And it's cheap as chips too. This place absolutely rocks, and it rocks hard!
I dare anyone to find a better cafe in the inner west - truly. I dare you. Find me another cafe that provides such a wonderful, clean, hospitable environment that also serves outstanding food and drink. You simply won't find it.
The real stand out moment is at the end when I realised that everyone who had walked in was greeted by name by the staff. There are regulars galore here, and to me that sums up the value of Three Rosettas. Loyalty amongst diners is fickle, and these lucky cafe proprietors have cornered their market so well that everyone comes back. Salute! read more
