My teeth are very strong and I never have bloody gums or any other issues. I brush twice a day and floss every night before bed. My first visit, they took about a hundred x-rays (excessive), and the dentist did an exam, explained to me she was going to do a cleaning. She then went over the cost of different options and I told her I just wanted a cleaning because that's what my insurance would cover. She did the cleaning and they wanted me to come in a MONTH later for another cleaning (which my insurance doesn't cover). I told them I wouldn't be doing that. I then received a bill in the mail for $120. When calling to complain, they told me they didn't submit it to my insurance. So if I hand't called to complain, I would've been out $120. 6 months later, they called to tell me I was due for my 6 month cleaning (which my insurance covers), so I moved forward with scheduling the appointment. After receiving the date of the appointment I verbally confirmed I was just going to receive a basic cleaning. Lisa then told me a list of things the doctor would need to do. I explained that going to the dentist often feels like going to purchase a used car. All the add-ons and upsells are ridiculous. She interrupted me while I was speaking to further justify the services she previously listed. I waited until she finished and she asked me if I wanted to keep the appointment. I told her to just cancel it and as I was explaining why, she began talking over me and then hung up on me. Real great customer service - NOT. Dealing with a snotty receptionist whilst trying to get a dental appointment is not great service. Nice modern office, but don't charge your customers for unnecessary procedures just to subsidize your decor. And maybe don't put snotty people on your phones when dealing with patients.

It is a first class operation, I set up an appointment Friday night for Saturday (No one else anywhere was open on Saturday) at 10:30am. I was greeted, told what the X Ray would cost, paid for that and sat in the waiting room. I was taken back in five minutes, got the X Ray, was told that he (Dr Li) would extract the bad tooth. I was given the cost of the extraction, signed off on it. Novocaine administered, barely felt the needle. He removed the tooth, felt nothing at all. This is now my Dentist. And they scare you into getting a deep clean by the way they talk to you at the 1st appointment! I was taken back by their dental hygienist Chris! As soon as I sat down she asked me what I take plavix for! I said I had an operation last year and she asked for what? I said I had heart surgery she said and And I said I had Open heart surgery She says and I said I had a double bypass she yells at the top of her lungs okay there we go!. I said all that information should be in my records she said well your records are not complete I said I filled them out online through your website not only that but my health advocate and I on my 1st appointment to this office sat for 1⁄2 an hour with a woman in the middle of the building in a middle office and we went through all my health Information! Because that woman was trying to set a plan on what to do with my teeth and where to go so she knew every single detail about my health information otherwise why the hell would I have had plavix on my health chart there would be no reason to tell anybody that because of hippa laws! If they didn't and DON'T need to know I sure as hell would not tell them that I am on plavix because it's none of their damn business because there are hipaa laws protecting me! But because I bleed in my teeth area when I get them cleaned they needed to know so I wouldn't bleed out and so I would stop taking my plavix 5 days prior! Then the dental hygienist Chris asked if I had any more medicines to report because I didn't have all my medicines so I pulled up on my phone all the medicines I take and she wrote them all down then she comes out and says we can't do anything today for you because you need to have a form filled out by your heart doctor! I asked her why in the hell did I not get that form on the 1st appointment that I had here I said I should have had that form with me and filled out for this appointment today but no nobody gave me that form on my 1st appointment! And then the dental hygienist Chris says and when my people call you To set up an appointment don't cuss at them or be rude or else I will make sure that you are put far far out of our system to get your teeth worked on. I came out and I said well then you better tell your damn people the next time they call my phone there will be hell to pay cause I get tired of receiving calls with no information no voicemails no nothing so I'm supposed to take a wild guess as to why your people are calling me for when there is no damn message to playback because they don't leave one! She didn't like that whatsoever and started attacking me even more and I said to her you know what fine I will call my health insurance file a complaint and make sure your office are taken off there UPMC health plan insurance and she says oh go ahead and try good luck!. Chris was a pure bitch that had a plan to take me back sit me in that chair and verbally attack me before the appointment even started! And for what because I get tired of their offices sending me endless emails and calling my phone and never leaving me a damn message for me to figure out what the hell these people want from me!! And that day I called and left a message asking for their office manager to call me and NOBODY has called me yet apparently they don't want my side of the story and patience don't have rights at this office so I highly recommend you not going there! And the next thing I get is a letter of discharge telling me to go somewhere else????? And for what for sticking up for myself not wanting to be verbally attacked by their dental hygienist Chris!
